Summary: Best Netcam Ever Had
Review: This netcam is the best ever!! I bought this in October and got it exactly the same week i ordered it using the standard shipment. this netcam has alot of fetures and great software for recording your movies to sending them and talking great still imagies. it does alot of things like adjust to light for the best viewing and has a great focus and also records in ultra high quality. its very easy to install, it has very easy instructions on how to install it and you just plug it in and install the software and your ready to record. its a very small product, it looks inourmous on pictures but it's really small and fits in the palm of my hand. i give this 5 and out 5 stars, i had no problems using this. it works with netmeeting too, so u can use AIM to talk to people u know

Summary: The best you can buy.
Review: I got this camera at Best Buy. I wanted to get in touch with my falmily in Wisconsin so I tried this camera. It is the best one I have seen so far, I bought another less expensive one for my parents and I regret it, their picture is always poor and blurry and they always say they can see ME clearly on netmeeting. It is sleek and light. The best thing: the picture quality. Bad things: It is a bit unstable and tends to fall from my monitor from the cable weight, also my opinion is that the usb cable is too short. In summary great buy, don't waste your time on others.

Review: I work from home and use this camera in association with NetMeeting Software and I give it two thumbs up. The resolution and the over all quality images this camera generates is exceptional for it's bargain price.The base is also detachable and can be set at various degrees. I use the base to clip on my laptop (screen). Great buy...trust me I own 3

Review: I tried several webcam type cameras before getting this one. Compared to the 3Com, they are all junk. This camera is incredibly easy to install and the picture quality is superb. I will be a 3Com customer for life!

Summary: Beware the order of your installation drive
Review: First of all thanks to all the other reviewers with their helpfull information. This is a great product overall for an affordable price. The low light performance is incredible good. I had no real problem with the installation (w98) other than produced by myself I guess. If you have a DVD and a CD-ROM Drive in your PC and you install from drive E: (as I did because of my inserted Half-Life CD in DVD D: Drive) you get a problem after the pre-installation routine is finished and tries to install the program files - starts searching first on the D: Drive (my Half-Life installation started again and the PC after abortion ran into some trouble with blue screens :-( So don't be lazy and eject the D: Drive or use the D Drive for your installation. This seems to be a general problem and not related to 3COM (more my own fault - I should have known better since I started in the MS-DOS World over a decade ago - right order of drives and so on ....). Hope, this helps.

Review: the first webcam i ever bought was the first quickcam from logitech, and when i got tired of the low quality pictures i decided to make a switch. i went to best buy and looked at the quickcam pro, and the ezcam, but for some reason this one stood out. what really pulled me in was the fact that on the back of the box there were 2 examples of pictures, one was taken with the competitor cam and the other was with the 3com, and let me tell you the difference was amazing! when i got home i plugged it into my usb and installed the software, it was a snap. the pictures have been so crisp and clear and no matter what lighting you are using the cam will still function with optimal performance. one of the benefits of this cam is that it comes with a longer cable so that you have more mobility with the cam, also the slim design allows you to put the cam virtually anywhere. as an added bonus (if you want to have a personal webcam) the software package comes with webcam32, which just happens to be one of the leaders in webcam software. the bottom line is, if you are looking for something quick, easy, and simply amazing.....go for this product. it will amaze you! your dollars will be well spent.

Review: The webcam can function with low light even less than 1 lux, it adjusts itself according to ambient light source. It is easy to install and it comes with great software bundle. Considering its capabilities it is good value for money and is worth the extra few bucks that you pay for and you won't regret.

Summary: BEWARE of HIDDEN CHARGES & Poor Documentation
Review: I was excited when my 3com Web Cam arrived from the US. My wedding is being broadcast live on the web on July 1st as all of my relatives are US based and my bride is Canadian. At 5 minutes to midnight on the eve of my wedding - literally - my registration expired. My first thought was that they had sent me old stock. Well they did but that wasn't the problem. (It is upsetting when you buy the latest and greatest just to find that they have changed the name, packaging etc. and you have last years model) It seems that to use this camera you have to go cap in hand to 3com and purchase a License to use the software - this costing TWENTY FIVE US DOLLARS. This is dishonest to say the least. I might have paid up front but I HATED finding out the day before my wedding and after my purchase. Also, there was no manual. The CD has no online manual and the doccumentation was very poor and little software was included. On the bright side, I like the resolution and the 9 foot cable is a major bonus. 3Com - wake up and be upfront about your charges! I will never buy another of your products again!
