Summary: THIS THING [STINKS}!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I got it and it did NOT read CD-RWs. The remote is for a 4-year old's hands. It cuts out about 10 seconds off the end of each song. It stops about every 70 seconds to buffer more music, then doesnt start again for a while. It takes up a lot of room to be able to use the AA batteries. No sound quality. Those were just some of the problems. IT [stinks]!!!

My advise for those who already wasted a bill is to take it back and say its defective and get a Riovolt.

Summary: Problems
Review: I have bought this player but till now I am unable to play any MP3 disc. I tried single session, multisession, various types of MP3 files etc. No effect. I have contacted Samsung services, without any significant help. Maybe someone can help me, how to record the CD-ROM to be "visible" by this player ?

Summary: I think this is a good product
Review: I purchased this item because I was going to be taking a 19 hour bus ride and I wanted something handy, without having to switch cds all the time. My player plays mp3s and they sound great. Naturally, if you have a bad quality mp3 file, it's going to sound bad on this player. I had a few problems where I would put in my mp3 disc and it would say that there were 47 songs, when I knew that there were 163 or more...so I would take out the disc and put it back in and then it would read properly.

I have since learned that I have been making my mp3 cds wrong. I was dragging and dropping them on to the disc, a few songs at a time. The proper way, so I've been told, is to use your cd creator program and make a data cd once you have all your files. I've since made a cd that way and have NO problems.

As to the earbuds, they are extremely comfortable, unlike the others I've had that really hurt the ears. The player is lightweight and the remote control thinger is extremely handy. I don't care if it doesn't name the mp3s right on the player, I made myself a cover, yes, I spent the extra hour and typed out all my songs...saves mixing up cds as well.

I prefer the aluminum case to the plastic ones you can get.

I'll finish by saying that I have had NO problems with my cds, except for the fact that I wasn't making the discs properly. I'd recommend this product.

P.S. There are also some mp3s that WILL NOT play in any media program on my computer, so I would recommend testing your mp3s on your cd creator program before breaking a cd.

Summary: I love it !! 5 stars...
Review: I rated this product five stars because this mp3 CD player has its own unique design, sound quality, and reasonable price. It has remote control that i did not expect and you can use both AA or AAA batteries. What I really like most is that this player has 100 seconds anti-shock. You better get one now....

Summary: THIS PLAYER IS ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!
Review: I strongly urge you not to purchase this item. It has severe difficulty reading mp3 encoded discs and skips cd's with the slightest touch. I am extremely disapppointed that i wasted my money on this piece of garbage. Don't make the same mistake I did. get a sony or phillips instead.

Summary: The Best
Review: I think this player is just amazing. Some people say there are too many downs, but it does play CD/CD-R/RW. Don't be using standard AAAs, it is really made for rechargeable batteries. The difference between alkaline and rechargeable AAAs is big. I found recharged batteries to last about 5 hours compared to standard. It's easy with the built in charger. And the sound in the MCD-MP67 is perfect. Far better than any other I've heard. I love using the remote because you can just clip it onto your coat and put the cd player in your pocket, which makes it far easier to change between tracks. It works with single session and multi-session mp3-cds, and I could fit about 200 songs onto one disk. It was easy to put all my cds into one mp3-cd and play them all one after the other by pressing one button. This was worth the money, and I recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Description Not Accurate
Review: I was disappointed when the player did not come with a carrying case and it does not display the Title or Artist as specified in the description. I find this a very poor selling practice. In other words, what they tell you is not what you are getting!

Summary: Very Nice!!!
Review: I was looking for the better cost/benefit and I can assure that you can buy this one. It works with 2 AAA batteries, comes with a nice remote control and also it comes with an adapter to use two extras AA batteries outside the player. The power supply is a battery eliminator and battery charger when you use two AAA rechargable batteries (recharges only the batteries that come inside the device). It doesn't have ID3 reader (doesn't show music names), I dont care, but works nice with as many directories you might have on your CD (accepts read only cds and r/w cds). The battery life is good: 4-5 hours with good AAA cells in MP3 mode, with the AA cells I did not measured yet, but you can use both same time to increase play time.
The skip mechanism is very good but it will consune your batteries faster. When playing MP3 the skip protection is not used, it is used only for regular music CDs. In fact when in MP3 mode I never heard a skip, trust me.
