Summary: Really Good Stuff :D
Review: I love Yu Yu Hakusho, and these are some of my favorite episodes They are where Yusuke finally wakes up after a lot of preparation, and meets Kurama (dreamy sigh) and Hiei. This is a MAJOR episode if you want to learn more about Kurama, and if you miss it, you'll probably regret it throughout the whole series.
This series is originally REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY GOOD (NOTE: Reviewer is a Yu Yu Hakusho fanatic), and the DVD is good quality :D. You'll especially like it if you are a Kurama fangirl (that's me) or Hiei fangirl :D.

Summary: Light vs Dark? Sweet!
Review: Alive and well, Yusuke now has some new tricks and adventures waiting for him in this next installment of the series. Also, two more characters are introduced. The soft-spoken Kurama and swift swordsman Hiei.

Summary: YYH ROOOOOOCKS!!!!
Review: I had to wait for this to hit Toonami(I'm not allowed to watch adult swim mind you), but I saw the ad on TV saying it was coming and I immediately started cheering and carrying on like that. I was hyped up so much cause I had been waiting so long. It was definately worth the wait. The first episode was a bit depressing(I almost shed a tear when Kayko and Kuwabara were carying on). As it moved into the Saint Beast saga
it provoked me to write a fanfic about it(no I'm not gonna rant about it either unless you WANT me to). Overall, YYH is my fave anime.

Summary: Really great
Review: I really liked this DVD but I sort of prefered the uncut version over this one. Yusuke first meets Hieh and Kurama. Apparantly there are three theives in this DvD. Hieh, kurama, and Gouki. Kurama leaves the three for a very sad cause. It almost made me weep. (sniff sniff. crying for five hours) just kidding. It is very sad though, about Kurama trying to use one of the three artifacts he and the other two theives stole from Koenma just so he couldsave his mom. Hieh and Gouki on the other hand are just down right peices of crap who don't care for anyone but themselves. This DvD is excting and fun to watch. No cliffhangers in the end of the dvd.

Summary: You won't be sorry!
Review: I've read reviews that compare this title to DBZ...
Let me assure you it is YYH is different.

YYH start out light hearted but still interesting. Later on, the story gets more interesting, as new monsters shows up. It gets really good in the "Dark Tournament" part. More action.

There are too much to say about this title, just watch this and it will grow on you (if you are not interested in this titile)
but for the anime fans I'm sure you will like it...
Just check it out!

Summary: Ok this is GREAT ANIME!!!
Review: Ok You have to admit this is very good anime. It's so well planned out on all the fighting plots. So it has some romance stuff. But it's for us girls or guys that like that kind of thing. Well these next episodes show alot more action and a little back ground on some characters. Mostly Kurama my favorite character. I love his hair and his eyes.
This is about three artifacts that was stolen by three demons that wish to use them for for their own reasons. For good or bad you will have to watch to see who use's these artifacts for there own selfish reasons. Yusuke has retrieve these artifacts back with in a week before the king returns home from his vacation, or Koenma will be punish as well as the world if those artifacts are not returned to there rightful place. Yusuke must find and defeat these demons all in one week and try not to die doing so.
Well I can tell you this, these next episodes are very surprising. You may feel sorry for some of the characters. Yusuke will be a joker till the end. This is something I think everyone will like. It's for all people girls, guys, and all anime lovers. It's funny, exiting, action pack, great story lines, great plots, emotions of romance, this just has it all. I love this anime very much. I hope you get it. I promise you, that you will not be disappointed.
YU YU HAKUSHO IS THE BEST I HAVE SEEN IN AWHILE. AS EVERYONE THOUGHT DRAGONBALL Z IS GREAT. BUT YU YU HAKUSHO IS WAY BETTER, CAUSE IT IS SO PLANNED OUT AND EVERYTHING HAS A TWIST. A+++++++++++++++ FOR YU YU HAKUSHO.

Summary: Say hello to the rest of the Team
Review: The first episode on this tape is the best, followed by the last episode. I just love it. Then Kurama and Hiei are finally introduced, much to the delight of the many fans. (I'm personally a Kuwabara fan, so I didn't find the rest of the tape as entertaining as others may have, but I know I'm biased ^_^). Go Yusuke and Kurama! I see my first hint at Kurama's cunning here.

Summary: More Ghastly Action
Review: The series continues, and this time Yuuske's back from the dead to try his hand at more demonic enemies. The action looks like something from DragonballZ with the power blast that is emitted from Yuuske's finger, but not the same. If you are like me, this a good thing, because I grew very tired of DBZ and the mindless fighting in it. YYH is beyond that, thankfully. The animation seems to have gotten slightly better which is always a plus and there is still comedy, but the series now focuses on matters of a greater scale involving the destruction of earth. Kurama and Hiei have been introduced. This will please many fans who have seen the movie or a part of Hiei's huge fanbase.
The reason i didn't rate this DVD higher is that I don't think the series is that spectacular after watching anime such as Lain, Evangelion, and Cowboy Bebop, and the animation isn't exactly cutting edge either, but if you liked the first for episodes or the movie, then this is for you.

Summary: Like Dragonball Z, only, well, better.
Review: What we have here is your standard fightin' anime. Yusuke Urameshi has the power and responsibility to fight demons and spirits and suchlike, and he does. The characters are great, the animation is great (although not the best), and the story is fine.

Ultimately it all devolves into super-powered heroes and super-powered villians, which is the real point of the series, just like DBZ, but the quality of YYH is better, and it is more satisfying in the long run. Another reason to get into YYH over DBZ: really, you're never going to get all the DBZ episodes on DVD. You can get in on the ground floor with Yu Yu Hakusho.

The first few episodes are still setting things up and laying the ground rules. This disc (Artifacts of Darkness) has the episodes where the fightin' starts, when Yusuke must recover three magical items, stolen from the Great Treasure Hall of the Spirit World by three demons in human form.

The DVD edition has both the dubbed and subbed versions, which is nice. Only four episodes per DVD, which is a little annoying; there is no reason why it couldn't be six.
