Summary: K-K-K-K-Ken is c-c-c-coming to k-k-k-kill me!
Review: Hilarious, wonderful film with many twists and hundreds of classic moments. The cast is perfect, and Kevin Kline deservedly won an Oscar in one of the greatest comedic performances ever. A great double feature with the sadly underrated "Fierce Creatures." For a fun flub, watch carefully during the scene in which Jamie Lee Curtis visits John Cleese's office to discuss the case. As she is leaving, you can clearly see a reflection in the mirror of the camera and several crew members.

Summary: my all-time favorite!!
Review: I absolutely love this movie. The interactions between all the actors is terrific - it's a laugh a minute. Extremely well-written and wonderfully well-acted. Kevin Kline is wonderful! I can't say enough good things about this movie, so I recommend you buy it ASAP.

Summary: Brit American Style.
Review: I am one of those who HATED the whole late night British invasion of late 70s TV, led by Benny Hill and of course Monty Python's Flying Circus. It was inane and droll. Even after a nearly a century, Charlie Chaplin is still cutting edge as far as British humor goes. That's what makes this movie such a delightful surprise. Just like in ARTHUR, British humor is fully realized when Americanized--just like Black humor is best when written by Jews--- and this, combined with John Cleeves's finsest hour, makes this a comedic classic that can go yuk for yuk with any flick!

Summary: ABSOLUTELY BLOODY FABULOUS!!!!!!
Review: I believe this to be the funniest, most enjoyable movie, I have ever seen !

Summary: I love this movie so much!
Review: I first saw this movie in a little basement room in a college building near my school with my best friend, and though my friend had seen it before, we both came close to falling out of our seats if fits of hysteria. This is the funniest movie ever! (Except perhaps for Monty Python, and if you like that, you'll love this.) My favorite scenes in this movie includes the killing-the-dog scenes, just because those are so random and so hillarious, and the scene where Otto (Kevin Kline) ties poor stuttering Ken (Michael Palin from Monty Phython) to a chair and sticks french fries up his nose and eats Ken's fish. I Love this movie so much. Everyone possessing an ounce of humor (and even those who don't) should see it!

Summary: Amazing
Review: I got into Monty Python sometime around last year. I became sort of obsessed and I plan to someday see every movie and book that any of them made. A Fish Called Wanda was one of the movies I had to see. We rented it and I must have watched it 4 times in the first week of having it! Michael has always been one of my favorite Pythons, but I knew John first because of Fawlty Towers that I watched with my sister on Comedy Central. Apart from the Monty Python movies, this has to be my favorite! I think they all did a great job on it! Next to see: Fierce Creatures.

Summary: Offensive language
Review: I got this video because I was told that it was funny.
I did not find it funny. The language was very offensive.
I couldn't count the many times the f-word was used.
I am surprised that John Cleese did that film. He doesn't
have to be crude to be funny. I would not recommend it
to anyone.

Summary: One of the funniest movies ever
Review: I guess this one needs no further presentation. It is the best dramatic comedy since »Nuns On The Run«, perfectly combining British humour with an exciting story of crime, lies, intrigues, love... and animal torture!

If you haven't seen it yet, JUST DO SO! NOW!

Summary: I liked Fierce Creatures Better
Review: I had the opportunity to watch this after watching Fierce Creatures first. Actually, I was glad I saw that movie first, because I personally did not like this one. Wanda had a lot of potential and had a lot of witty things in it not tried before, yet, the crudeness made me a little tired.

Interesting to see how things lightened up in comedy in the 90's compared to this 1980's flick about crime. There were definately some very funny scenes, Kevin Kline showing up all the time was really fun, wondering what he would say when he did, and the gem to me was Michael Palin chasing after a witness that he trying to off. That had me in stiches.

I rated this movie a three because of the concept of attempting to get to the stash by whatever means possible was very clever. Cleese in court was outstanding. This movie will be liked by most, however, there is too much language and crudeness as you can see in the other reviews.
