Rating: Summary: Without a doubt, the GREATEST story ever told !!!!!!! Review: No other sci-fi story will even come close to surpassing this amazing story. I could not put it down. This book will remain in my collection forever. I recommend this book to anyone interested in sci-fi or military novels.
Rating: Summary: One of the best & worst books I've read. Review: The criticism & praise of this book I think are both generally off the mark. This book is manipulative, disturbing, & extreme. It is also gripping, powerful, & memorable. The religous or political orientation of Card is relevant, but it doesn't make the book good or bad. I think some Mormons could easily hate it & secular atheist could love it. Likewise I'm conservative & mixed on it. I hope others have a more mixed approach. This book I think inspires strong feelings, but it is possible to be ambivalent about it. In fact I think there's almost a joke moment in it where Card hints people will love & hate it. Just like Ender's parents loved & hated him.
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: I've never enjoyed a book so much in my life as I have this one. Its great for everyone.
Rating: Summary: This is the best sci-fi book I have ever read! Review: The story is very interesting and you cannot put the book down. It is awesome!!
Rating: Summary: a commentary on this book by a person who is a fanatic. Review: This is an excellent book for those who get their hype of off boy
Rating: Summary: What the other reviews missed Review: Everyone talks about Ender, but to me the most intriguing part of the story here is the line that follows his siblings. Two equally gifted children, one incredibly ambitious and one just playing along, plotting to take over the world? A great subplot. I don't want to downplay the main story line, but that has been covered in every other review here. While I can easily live without the second, third, and fourth books of this series, Ender's Game I will keep in my permanent collection.
Rating: Summary: Ender's Game is the BEST book EVER!!!!! Review: I usually don't like sci-fi books, but I recently read Ender's Game and I really liked it!!!! It has replaced To Kill A Mockingbird for me as the best book I have ever read!!!! All aspects of the book are just plain AWESOME!!!! Go read it!!
Rating: Summary: The greatest sci-fi novel ever Review: Ender Wiggin in Ender's Game became a part of me-no- in fact, he is me. Throughout the story I related to his solitude and trials in life, just as the book began to slow down, new twists were around the corner. I could not have asked for a better ending, all of my(Ender's) hard work paid off and I finally got to relax.
Rating: Summary: I loved this book!!! Review: I just finished Ender's game, and I loved it!! I am 12 years old, and I think that Card did an excellent job on this book. I reccommend this to any parent of a kid, or just a kid at heart, that loves science fiction, because this book proves that the little ones are the ones that count.
Rating: Summary: A must read for all. Review: Mister Scott's tale is the most interesting book I have ever read. I have read it well over 10 times and it still isn't old, I still find something new everytime. This book should not be read as if it were science fiction, but as if it were a modern tale. Tragic and triumphent in the same moment. It displays the power of man to overcome anything, and the horrors we are capable of. This is a book that should be mandatory reading in school. I call for a movie to be made of this movie so all can experience the adventure that is Ender's Game.
