Rating: Summary: HOLES CRITIQUE Review: I like this story because each character has a real drama like every person has. Also some characters have descendents from the past that connected to each other in the present, like Stanley and Zero. The plot is very good because you don't know what will happen next and this makes it all the wole interesting and exiting. I like Stanley because he is a kid that is trying to solve the mysteries of Camp Green Lake and he doesn't let obstacles stane in his way.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Book! Review: I liked "Holes" because it was fun to read, and had comedy and friendship throughout the story. I recommend this book to anyone who likes good books even if they're long.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review Review: I liked Holes a lot. It had many ups and downs. Some of the ups were towards the end of the book. Some of the downs were that many characters like Barf Bag and Twitch were not used much. I liked the way Sachar named the main character. The other characters also had funny nicknames. My favorite line was "no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather".

Rating: Summary: My Review on Holes Review: I liked Holes because there are alot of mini stories in this book. I thought the characters were very interesting. There were times when I laughed and times when I got upset. The author created a barren wasteland and turned it into a place of adventure. Out of all the books I read this was one of my favorites. I read ten chapters when I was supposed to read only five. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to take a journey.
Rating: Summary: BOB IN BLUES REVIEW FOR HOLES Review: I liked Holes but it gets confusing in some parts . Watch out-- not every character is nice.I recommend this book to people 10 and up. This book is fun to read.It gives you good information as the book goes along. I would give this book 5 stars.
Rating: Summary: Holes, A Story Within A Story Review: I liked Holes. The characters are really funny and sometimes really mean. The story is about a boy named Stanley Yelnats who is cursed by his no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great-great-grandfather and gets in alot of trouble. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I didn't like Holes. There are alot of mysteries in the book. The author (Louis Sachar) doesn't explain any of them. The book gets very dull sometimes. The story is about a camp called Camp Green Lake where you are forced to dig holes that are exactly 5 feet wide and 5 feet deep. (...) That is about as much as I could tell you.
Rating: Summary: Holes Review by S. Von Woofingham Review: I liked how Holes had so many twists and how everything came together. It is hilarious, too! Look at all the funny characters: Myra (whose head is empty as a flowerpot, Madame Zeroni (the gypsy with one leg), Zero (the emptyheaded kid...or so you think!),and Stanley Yelnats (the kid whose name is spelled the same forwards and backwards). Don't forget to look out for the #3! Wait until you hear all of the great descriptions of Mary Lou in a bathing suit. Yeah! I definitely give it ***** (5 stars!)
