Summary: I Couldn't Run Away From Maniac Magee
Review: Maniac Magee is an excellent read because it has great descriptions. Everything sounded so very real. For example, when the author expressed Maniac's feelings after Grayson's death, it was very easy to understand. It was beautiful how the author described the band shell at Christmas, too. Also, the descriptions of the McNab house supported the fact that the McNab's house was an absolute disaster. It was also interesting when the writer made the characters do strange things, like having Mars Bar finally like Maniac. Some parts were suprising, like when Maniac left the Beales, whom he loved very much. This book always had something in store for me.

Review: I disliked this book. It was confusing. It skipped around tomuch. It went from one thing to another and then back again. It alsohad too many characters. I never knew what character did what. Maniacwas always complaining. He was always saying he had no place to liveeven though he had choices. I do not recommend this book.

Summary: The Main Reason Why I Liked Maniac Magee
Review: I thought Maniac Magee was a clever story. I kind of liked the story Maniac Magee. It was clever when they said that Maniac's parents were killed in a trolley incident. That part was also kind of creepy in a way. Another example of how I liked the story would be that it was mean when the boys built the pillbox to protect themselves if...[they were] attacked.... It was also very exciting when I found out that Maniac decides to call the Beale's house home. That is why I thought Maniac Magee was a clever story.

Review: Maniac magee was a great book. I enjoyed reading Maniac Magee. The reason I enjoyed reading this book is because i learned alot about families, and how different they can be. For instance, the beales family was neat and clean, and the McNabs was dirty, messy and, disorganized. It was a surprise to me how different the families can be.

Review: I liked reading Maniac Magee.It was very interesting because Maniac was at a different place so often.Each time I read the story Maniac was having a new adventure.For example, one of the kids he got into a fight with,Maniac ended up stayin at their house.Another time was when he became goods friends with Mars Bar,{who he had a fight with}and almost stayed at his house too.The only thing that I disliked was that some of the chapters seemed like they skipped back and forth.

Review: I enjoyed Manic Magee because it was always moveing.For instance whan Jeffrey left a family he found another.Another thing is that the chapters were short.All I wanted to do was to keep on reading.It kept me intrested.It gave me that need to know more felling. Also the discription of objects and Jeffreys motions were so clear that you can picture it in your mind. For example in chapter 40 the first chapter states "He ran far that day,away from town,letting the wind wash him." I can just see Jeffrey raceing with the wind and him in the lead. All I can say is that this is a really wounderful book and that if you have not read it then READ IT!

Review: The novel Maniac Magee was definitely not a great book.I didn't really like the book at all.I really didn't like it because it wasn't that exciting to me.They really didn't describe the familys to great.It made me confused by having too many families in it.It also was very hard to keep up with all the families and which family he was with,that is also why it made me confused.There is one more reason why I really didn't like the book.They would say a good part than leave it to the end of the story.These are my examples of not liking the book at all.I really didn't like the book at all.

Review: The book MANIAC MAGEE WAS OK.Maniac was very adventures, likewhen he runs, it was like when he ran he would meet someonenew. Usally that person was the person that he became friends with orlived whith.I though maniac was loveing & careing. like whenmaniac lived with aunt Dot& uncle Daneven though they did nottalk,the beales even though they lived in the east.also he lived withthe McNabswhile they were bad and the pickwells even though there wereto many.i like that he did not care how bad or color you are. likewithmars bar, mcnabs ,and the beales. i like the ending it wasgood. ...that is why i though the book was ok.
