Rating: Summary: Hooray!! Another ranting tirade for liberals!! Review: Thank God for people like Mr. Hannity who keep the liberals scrambling to justify the behavior of their leadership! Thanks again, Sean!
Rating: Summary: Horrifically dishonest Review: There's something very insidious about someone who would lie so deliberately and so desperately. It makes me ashamed to be an American....
Rating: Summary: this book is crap Review: full of lies, deception and half-truths, this person is completely out of context with the real world, his only job here is to spin a web of lies to snare as many people as he can that are not smart enough to check the facts.
Rating: Summary: Great Review: Sean Hannity is famous for his role on FOX News' "Hannity and Colmes." He is always bold and blunt, making sure that certain guests don't spin things around giving the viewers a false impression of the situation. He brings that kind of attitude to this book.. which is a good thing. Sean Hannity is uncompromisingly strong in his beliefs and this book will make you think. Democrats and Republicans alike need to read this book. Hannity has given me food for thought. Read it!
Rating: Summary: ... and kiss the compromising Republican Party goodbye!!!! Review: . Why does Sean Hannity hang on the G.O.P.? Is he nuts? Hannity need to note, for example, although the Republicans have control of both houses of congress and the White House, we still have... • The National Endowment for the Arts • The Department of Education • Income taxation Add to these • the Republican's so-called "Patriot Act" - a big government power grab that makes Hillary's failed socialized medicine plot look like a romp in the park • and feeble tax breaks that are like an armed robber giving his victim change. Hannity, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, et all need to admit the GOP has long abandoned the conservative movement. Meanwhile, genuine conservatives - those who wish to conserve the Bill of Rights and the spirit of liberty they represent - would be well advised to join with the true, Barry Goldwater Republicans; otherwise known as the Libertarians. Read "The conscience of a Conservative" by Barry M. Goldwater and kiss the compromising Republican Party goodbye!!!!
Rating: Summary: Former democrat. Review: Unlike all of the liberals who have posted reviews, I actually bought my book (with my own money) and read it. I have to say that I enjoy the breath of fresh air from the right, and the squeels of protest from the left. Tsk Tsk, such hatred the left has for anyone who dares speak against them. Look at the reviews from the liberals. 90% are filled with name calling and bashing. I guess the left wing is not used to being questioned, and goes crazy when it happens on a national scale. I personally love it when they call W, Hannity, Rush et al "liars". FUNNY, where where you for the previous 8 years!
Rating: Summary: It's Sean's World. We just live here Review: We should be united after September 11, but Hannity likes to divide Americans into "us and them" categories. "Us" is those who agree with Hannity. The ultra right wing, pious Christian who doesn't question anything our commander in chief wants to do, no matter how morally warped that might be. "Them" is anybody who has a slightly different opinion. Or, anybody who dares to question the administration. This is especially telling since the Clinton years saw Hannity, et al launch into anti-Clinton diatribes that make Michael Moore's comments on Dubya seem like a love letter by comparison. So, let freedom ring? Ring for who? Only those who Sean thinks it should ring for? Hannity usually comes dangerously close to telling those who disagree with him to go back to Iraq. So much for believing in the First Amendment. If Lincoln knew what Hannity, Coulter, Limbaugh, Shrub, etc has done to the Republican party and conservative politics, he'd roll over in his grave.
Rating: Summary: Strong entry into the print field Review: What a surpise. Like any work of political non-fiction, half the people give this book 5 stars and half give it 1. Can we put partisan politics aside- if you don't like what Hannity has to say, don't post a review. I doubt you even read the book. The same goes for Republicans, don't unnecessarily trash Al Franken's stuff when you didn't read the book. Let's get fair evaluations. As for Hannity's tome, it was a good read. I considered Ann Coulter's "Slander" better, but this is also a good book for those wanting to saturate themselves in the conservative mantra.
Rating: Summary: What a bunch of garbage Review: One reviewer said "He brings the same informed, intelligent, and consistent style to his book". Informed?? Intelligent?? Try looking for facts and you find him lacking. Try looking for the truth and you only find half truths. Yes, he is consistent. Reading this book is like listening to his radio show, not a lot of substance but a great deal of "I'm right so you must be wrong". Don't waste your money on this.
Rating: Summary: What claptrap Mr Inanity Review: Beware of those who wrap themselves around the flag proclaiming to be patriots. Most patriots do not go around waving the flag for that is the easy way and so it is Mr. Inanity's way. Mr. Inanity writes a book for profit. Mr. Inanity if you are a true patriot, you would volunteer for the military and serve your country. But no, Mr. Inanity is too good for that. Better to write another book of inane jottings than do the work of a real patriot and serve your country.
