Rating: Summary: A Man of Integrity Review: The most remarkable thing about Sean Hannity is his personal integrity, a quality not easy to find in today's public figures. Though other pundits may use Christian tradition to insinuate themselves into the public's favor, they often abandon Christian principles when they are not politically correct. Sean has a consistently Christian view of politics from beginning to end.
Rating: Summary: Great Book Review: Sean is yet another talented and informed conservative hero and brings so much insight into the wrongs and the end justify the means committed by the socialist marxist liberal left.
Rating: Summary: A great introduction to his show Review: I find it amusing that when ever someone who disagrees with a conservative, they try to defeat him/her by slaming thier character in attempts to destroy them. Over the years that I've watched and listened to his program, he always treats the people that he disagrees with kindness and compassion. This book is no different, essentially his show in written form. He always welcomes an open rational dicussion with other viewpoints. Read this along with Ann Coulter's book, "Slander"
Rating: Summary: Incredible Book Review: This book is the best I have read in the last 10 years. It makes you proud to be an American, it outrages you, it makes your mind work far into the memories of the last 10 years and beyond, and it causes fear from the very soul of your body. It is a fabulous read, smooth and relevant. Hannity is an incredible writer of his thoughts and knowledge. I thank Sean Hannity for sharing his brilliance with the world, and for making us think and hopefully act!
Rating: Summary: Get Hannitized! Review: Sean is a great voice for Conservative Americans. He points out how destructive the policies of the Left have been to our country. More than that, he doesn't pull his punches. He let's the Left have it. Republicans need to learn that when they clearly express their beliefs and their ideas for the country, that they will win. Too often, Republicans are themselves fooled by the Left in this country, especially in the media their views are in the minority. I had the opportunity to catch Sean Hannity live at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles, California and he was even more entertaining and passionate about his views than on radio and television. His book touches on all the problems liberals either create or stand in the way of fixing. Liberals have to be fought. The cost of failure is too high. Liberals don't understand this war. If conservatives don't win the battle against the liberals, then you can almost count on the terrorists winning the day.
Rating: Summary: This is a must-read for all Americans! Review: I first became aware of Sean Hannity when he occasionally subbed for Rush Limbaugh on his daily radio show. I quickly became enamored of him because of his knowledge of the issues; his articulateness; and his diplomacy with disagreeable callers. When FoxNews FINALLY became accessible in our area, Hannity/Colmes quickly became a favorite. Sean Hannity is a true patriot with values and integrity rarely seen in media figures today. All these qualities come through in his book. His style is professional and very readable; he writes just as he talks: he "tells it like it is". I highly recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: Not near as good as his FOX appearances... Review: As a big fan of FOX news and their ability to tackle important complex subjects and whittle them down to mindless drivel, I was very excited to see that FOX's very own Sean Hannity has finally achieved his oft stated goal of writing just one more book than he has read. What an amazing milestone! I probably should have bought the book on tape though, because it just isn't the same without Sean himself shouting out his opinions in an effort to drown out all opposing ideas as well as random flashes of logic. You just can't get that kind of audio "boost" from a printed page. Oh well. I did enjoy his laudatory treatment of Ronald Reagan although it is not as canine in its devotion to the great man as any recent book written by a moistened and panting Peggy Noonan, but then that may be asking too much of Sean or any mortal man. Unfortunately Let Freedom Ring only gets three stars because it lacks the extensive footnotes that made Ann Coulter's Slander the Where's Waldo of facts, providing hours of verification fun for the whole family. Additionally it is missing the unattributed, unsourced quotes that made Goldberg's Bias the great mystery novel of the year. It's a pity that Hannity's book should come out in the same year as those two Pulitzer candidates, and so will not be given the same serious attention and plaudits that it so richly deserves. But, on the whole, it is still a truly wonderful book with many pages of short, descriptive, easily-sounded-out words suitable for a President of limited vocabulary skills and attention span. For Freedom and Victory, bravo Sean!
Rating: Summary: HANNITY ROCKS Review: Sean Hannity says it all with his great read 'Let Freedom Ring..." If you are looking for a read that chronicles today's New World Order, this is the book. Hannity's book should be required reading in all political science classes. Peter Wilkinson Thiele
Rating: Summary: Five Stars --- Especially To Conservatives Review: Sean Hannity, like O'Reilly in his "no spin" books, lays out all the things he believes in that he talks about on radio and television. And, he does a nice job, kind of countering many of the things Michael Moore talks about in his book, "Stupid White Men". All of these books are bestsellers, and rightfully so, owing to how well done they are. But they all have an agenda. Maybe it's just me, but I think everyone should also read some books that are not just a few facts expanded into book length for someone's agenda. For a book that is all researched facts not opinions, yet refreshingly presented, on what America is all about and what it means to be an American, I recommend readers of "Let Freedom Ring", "Stupid White Men", "Bias", "Slander", "Death of the West", "No Spin Zone", "It Takes a Village", etc. go on to read Norman Thomas Remick's allegory of America, "West Point: Character Leadership Education, A Book Developed From Thomas Jefferson's Readings And Writings".
Rating: Summary: A clear (and polite) reality check for a post 9/11 world Review: We all like to think that we are right in what we do and say. More often than not, this clouds our judgement and influences our choices. Sean Hannity's book "Let Freedom Ring: Winning the war of liberty over liberalism" offers a clear and detailed history of the many questionable (and outright incorrect) choices that liberals have made over the past thirty years and why it's more important than ever that we as a country begin to *think* about who we elect. Throughout the book, Sean chronicals the negative influence that the left has had on our national security, the environment, taxation, civics and patriotism and the techniques used by politicians and the media to reinforce (and justify) those decisions. There are hundreds facts that I'm sure many on the left would prefer to forget and/or obfuscate. But in today's world, Sean reminds us that we cannot afford to support politicians that continue erode our defense readiness, intelligence gathering capability, our aggregate moral values and our freedom from government control. "Let Freedom Ring" is not brash or offensive as some may initially presume about a conservative book. It is a fair reminder of past liberal policies that up until now have at best been a nuisance, but could be deadly in the future. If you classify yourself as a liberal, but really can't figure out why (apart from the fact that it makes *you* feel better about yourself) then I'd urge you to read this book, learn the facts and have the courage to view the world and your leaders in a new light.
