Rating: Summary: Its a scrumdiddlyupmtious book! Review: I am 10 years old and love all of the funny tongue-twisters! I think that it is the best book I ever read! But what I can't understand is how such a big giant be so kind and all of his ancestors go gobbling children all night? I would reccomend this book to any young reader!
Rating: Summary: Really, really, GREAT ! Review: This book is really awesome ! You need to have an imagination to read it. Sophie was snatched from her bed by The BFG. Sophie thought that it was her last day on earth, but no ! The BFG is of course, The Big Friendly Giant ! Together, they try to stop the BFG's neighbours from eating the kids all over the world. Don't be surprise but they really get to meet the Queen Of England !!!
Rating: Summary: get this one next! Review: I am a mom, whose beloved daughter talked me into reading this great book. I just want to say that if you've just read Roald Dahl's most famous books (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach), this would be the one I recommend you pick up next. It is just as wonderful, but not the same.
Rating: Summary: BFG is one of the best children's books Review: I have been a real Roald Dahl fan ,since I was a child. Now I'm in my twenties I can still enjoy his books, especially the BFG. Because I'm from the Netherlands I read the book in Dutch first, but when I was in 6th grade I read it in English. I can enjoy the part of the dreams in the bottles so much and also the part where his dinner is being discussed is superb. I've read most of his books now and I have to say that I like this one best. The man was a very witty person, who could laugh at the account of a person and let him laugh with him. In three words: A marvelous writer
Rating: Summary: Funny Review: Everything in this book was funny. The plot, the story, the giant, giantland, the way Sophie took it all, the other giants, the dreams, the queen and her butler, --- just everything --- was funny! I liked all the made up words that the BFG used. I started to read this book very late one night, but I couldn't stop. I ended up finishing it around midnight! It was that great! I have now begun to read it to my mother who things of it the same way.
Rating: Summary: Wizzpoping fantastic by:Yuli Almozlino Review: I'm 8 years old. I love this book so much because it's funny. The funny part of it is the whizzpoppering.
Rating: Summary: It was a lot of fun Review: It was a lot of fun.Because the BFG said this is scrumdidiliumptious.
Rating: Summary: The BFG is Wizzpopping Good by Billy MaloufI Review: I never wanted the book to end. Even though my mom read the book to me, I stayed up and read the book in one night and then let her read the book to me. My mom and I liked the way the giant made up his own language. I recommend this book to people who enjoy books that are funny, well-written and clever,
Rating: Summary: It was the most scrumdiddleyumptus book I ever read Review: I first read this book when I was in the sixth grade, when my sister got it for her birhtday. Since then I've read it over 100 times. I love this book so much, even though it has words like frobscottle and whizzpoppers.
Rating: Summary: Absolutely Remarkable! Review: I read this book when I was in 3rd grade, and I remember not wanting to put this book down. One of my all-time favorite books. This story has an interesting twist at the end. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
