Summary: Illusions
Review: I think that this is a very wonderfull and iteresting book. I think that it teaches people to open there eyes to what is around them and really makes you think. The fact that it makes you think about what really is possible makes it a good book.

Summary: Enlightening yet simple...
Review: Frequently, you come across books which go into the depths of the human psyche to give you a new understanding of yourself, and then miraculously, you stumble upon one, which a child could read, but one which teaches you comething new everytime you read it. This is one of those ! I have read it countless times, but never had there been a time, when I did not learn something new from it !

Summary: Help Where You Never Thought You'd Find It
Review: I was given this book when i was going through a hard time. The books words helped me to regain control, and everytime i read it i am filled with hope, however brief. This book is the BEST book i have read to date, better than the well known Frankenstien or even books by Gaiman, not just because it is different than most on the market, not just because it is written by a very talented writer, not just because of its way you can't put it down, but because of the way it engulfs you into itself so well that you can find yourself commently outloud to the book and when you finish, you almost believe you can do what Donald does (he's the main character).

Summary: Bach at his BEST!
Review: Illusions is a must read for anyone interesting in soul-searching experiences. Richard Bach, author of the famous Jonathan Livingston Seagull, amongst many others fabulous novels, does his best work ever with Illusions... His characters will make you understand, know and believe that it really is okay to be different, the way were we born and intended to be.... He will make you understand that we attract to us only what we reflect to others - "like attracts like, be who you are".

Summary: Higher Level of awareness
Review: This book takes the reader to a higher level of awareness. The book can be summed up with the line - Argue for your limitations and you have them.

Summary: illusions
Review: im sorry to say that the book didnt touch me as much as the rest of the readers, it did have some good thoughts and insights, but i dont believe that someone or something can make you soar as some say. i believe that they can only inlighten you to ideas, but you yourself can only make that happen.
it wasnt a bad book and i would recamend it to my friends, but not sure if i will read it again.

Summary: Power to the self.
Review: After reading this book, I had an epiphany, of sorts. Richard Bach managed to write one of the more uplifting books I have ever read. In simple language, spanning a mere 190 pages, Richard Bach managed to convince me that I was the only person in control of my life. Not just my life, however. Bach shows the audience that they control their sickness, their sleep, their breathing. Bach shows you the power within which controls all that surrounds you.
Bach did more for me than just show me what I controlled. He showed me the choices I had. Bach showed me that I should be true to myself, for nothing will come of my life unless I am truly happy. "Your only obligation in a lifetime is to be true to yourself. Being true to anyone else is not only impossible but the mark of a fake Messiah". This, harks back to my reading of Thoreau who noted that, "imitation is suicide." Living out the dreams of others is not the way to find your true purpose, or your true joy. Only through manipulation of your life to better fit what actually suits you, will you arrive at the end of life, happy.
Illusions showed me that what appeared to be final and concrete was just the beginning. "What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls a butterfly." Bach shows us that our world around us does not end as the sun sets and begin again as it peeks over the hills. The sun, instead, sets when we desire it to, and rises as we prepare for it. We are within the ability to beckon the sun, and transform into a butterfly anytime we wish.
In the end, after reading this book, I found a new pair of eyes to look at life. Although I never felt trapped in life, I felt an odd freedom. The mountains of homework didn't appear to something I needed, but rather a gift to myself. "You seek problems because you need their gifts." I chose to take on the work load I did because I needed the tasks at hand to keep busy. I felt that things that formerly depressed me now took on a new, positive, light as I realized that they were in my life because I wanted them to be.
"I am the sorcerer and when I open my eyes I will see the world that I have created" Richard Bach's Illusions will set you to wonder about life, existence and what to have for breakfast. Before you pick up another book, pick up this incredibly short read and begin to look at life with new eyes.

-Chameron E. Leonard.

Summary: Illusions?
Review: When I first got this book for an online course I'm taking I was a little skeptical about it. Then I mentioned the title to a friend of mine and he whole heartedly recommended to me that I read it.

The book is a very quick read (I finished it in 90 minutes) and enjoyable. When I was done reading, I just sat back and said "Wow". I don't think anyone could read the book and not find a little piece that related to themself in one way or another. I would definitely recommend reading it to anyone - young or old.

Summary: One Great Book
Review: I found "Illusions" by Richard Bach to be an excellent book. He see's the world in an entirly different perspective than most people would if they were writing a similar book. I loved how cynical he was at the end, when he closed his book in the same way as he opened it. That makes the book seem like it is a neverending cycle. This book was both inspiring and honest, it makes you want to follow in some of the footsteps that the characters take.
When I first picked up this book, I thought it was going to be a religious novel that would probably bore me. But after the first page I couldn't put it down. I would reccomend everyone read this book if you have a few extra hours to spare. If you don't, your missing out.
