Summary: I love it!
Review: Who would ever think that just a simple book would inspire so many people? This book was one of the best books I have ever read. When it was fist introduced to me by my teacher Mr. Lewis I thought it would be boring but he proved me all wrong. I am glad I read the book because it mad me think about a lot of things. I have also referred the book to others. Be ready to hear from them very soon!

Summary: An Inspiring book that everyone should read
Review: I have purchased well over a dozen copies of Illusions. I read it about once a year and then pass it on to someone who I think can learn from it. It is an uplifting tale of how we should look at life. The messages from the Mesiahs Handbook are thought provoking and have helped me through some rough times in my life.

Summary: Inspiring! A captivating way to look at life!
Review: Illusions captivates the true wisdom and truths of life. If only we could all live by these inspirations and encouraging words of enlightenment-Imagine!?! Don, a true Messiah, wants to quit, but not until he passes along the realizations of real-life illusions he has come to empower. Richard, a barnstormer in the open fields of the spectacular Mid-West, becomes Don's student. The relationship these two share grows to become a "special" connection; where at once Richard can't even fathom Don's experiences to finally aspiring to Don's greatness and intellect. A book you could simply read again and again. One of those that captures not only the way we should live and that others do, but honestly the true essence of life.

Summary: The Whole Book
Review: Illusions by Richard Bach was a very fascinating book. I Really enjoyed reading it and I learn great aspects from it. I would advise many people to read the book and past it on. For any comments contact me by e-mail. Read the book October 1999.

Summary: A book to read annually!
Review: I read this book at least once a year since I discovered it so many years ago. This is the classic Bach at his best. However I would not rate any of his books at less than 3.5 with mostly 4 & 5s. It is a great fable that was topical nearly 20 years ago when I first read it as it is today. I read it annually and watch the meaning change as I go along.

Summary: Amazing perspectives to life!
Review: Illusions is without a doubt one of the best books I've ever read. The unexpected concepts portrayed from the opening cover to the last page are captivating. Once I began, I could not put it down until I finished. Every once in awhile it's great to read or view some kind of media that offers to give one a new perspective to life, and Illusions certainly does that. This book is just brimming with incredible (and quotable) phrases and thoughts. I am even planning to use something from it for my senior quote in high school! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in exploring different ideas about life and existance.

Summary: An out of the ordinary book filled with precepts on life
Review: I enjoyed reading this book, even though it contradicts what we believe in. I know our beliefs vary, but the book contains of quotes from a Messiah's handbook that opposes the way life functions. A Messiah, named Donald Shimoda, wants to quit his job because he is not happy with it. No one is willing to listen to what he's trying to preach on life. Therefore he wants to teach another man, Richard, the principles of becoming a Messiah. This book will make you think about life- maybe even change your whole point of view. If you want to read something quite different, pick up this book.

Summary: A story of the imagination and life's infinite possibilities
Review: Who would have thought that so much truth, wisdom, and spiritual enlightenment could be contained within this slim story. In Richard Bach's handbook for the advanced soul, we are reminded that we are always free to do whatever we please-to pursue a certain course of action or to choose how we want to feel. We decide whatever we want to experience joy, indignation, frustration, sadness, etc. It is the power of the mind, the imagination, and the heart that will bring us into the dimensions of happiness. This concept is demonstrated in the experiences of Richard, a barnstormer whose encounter with a messiah forces him to reject his conception of the nature of reality from one that is concrete to one that is without limitation. A wall no longer becomes a barrier; it is an opportunity to exercise one's imagination.

The value of this story is immense; it will truly renew your spiritual sight and provide you with direction. This text contains universal truths. What is so unique about it is that it appeals to just about all religious and non-religious persuasions, and because it is written to be understood, the message is clear and utterly beautiful.
