Summary: Funny Word For pen
Review: If you like books about new words, Frindle by Andrew Clements is just for you. The main character, Nick who turned his classroom into a tropical island, invented a new word, frindle. A year later in fourth grade all the fourth graders fancied that word and used it instead of pen. Then the problem came with Mrs. Granger, Nick teacher, slows him down by adding a new rule that says, "Whoever mentions the word frindle will be forced to write 100 sentences after school." While the fourth graders stayed after school, their parents worried and called the school. Like fighting on chess bard the battle went on! If you want to know the ending buy it now and read. I highly recommend this story because it is humorous and it makes you feel that you are character.

Summary: Funny Word For a Pen
Review: Frindle is a humorous realistic fiction story by Andrew Clements. Nick Allen was an inventor, because he created a word called frindle. Frindle means a pen. Ms. Granger is a language teacher who hates the word frindle and wants everybody to use the word pen. All of then America hears about the new word that Nick Allen invented, so Ms. Granger can't make everybody to use the word pen. In the book Frindle it took place in Lincoln Elementary School, which is where Nick's school is. This book took in the modern times. Nick Allen called a pen frindle because one time Nick and Janet Fisk had missed the bus because of the school newspaper meeting. They walked home together and then while they were walking Janet dropped her pen out of her pocket. Nick help Janet pick it up and said, "Here is your frindle!" That was when he changed the word pen in to the word frindle. If you want a humorous story then read the book Frindle by Andrew Clements. I recommend this book to all of the 4th and 5th graders because it had Great detail, zippy beginning and ending, and most of all interesting words.

Summary: My Veiw on Frindle
Review: I read the book Frindle by Andrew Clements. The main character is Nick. He's an eleven year old by and going into fifth grade. Nick is known to be the class clown and he has a lot of friends. Even though he's the class clown he is still a good guy and he is really nice. This story takes place at Nick's school and house. He makes up a new word "frindle" and uses it instead of the word pen. Then he gets all his friends to use the word. They spread the word around and pretty soon everybody uses it. His teacher thinks it has gone to far and does all she can to stop it. But when Nick gets forced to stop it the whole world is using and there's nothing he can do about it. This book is a fiction book or a normal book. I loved this book especial its humor and I encourage all of you to read it too.

Summary: Success!
Review: Absolutely Wonderful! This book is engaging for all ages and a must read for every middle-grade class. A heart warming and funny story -- a parent's dream come true. It is about a student named Nick Allen, who decides to create a new word. His Language Arts teacher, Mrs. Granger has a real passion for the english vocabulary and the uses of a dictionary. But after Nick's insistence, his friends and schoolmates begin using his word ... frindle. Much to his teacher's dismay, it becomes so popular that everyone is using it. Many escapades ensue (after-school punishments, principal visits, local and national publicity, local entrepreneurial opportunities and finally, true acceptance of the word and inclusion in the dictionary. In the end, both student and teacher form a strong appreciation for one another and a bond that cannot be broken.

Summary: One of the best books EVER!!!!
Review: This is a story about a boy named Nick, who kids at his school know him for his stalling questions to get out of homework assignments. But one day, Nick & his friend, Janet are walking home from school. Nick decides that he should make a new word. So he said "Here's your Frindle." This sets off a chain reaction that soon, the world is using his word. My favorite part is at the end when his old teacher, Mrs. Granger (Who he thought hated the word Frindle) sent him a package with a dictionary. And the dictionary has Frindle in it!! This is a wonderful story that will make you want to sit down for hours at a time reading it. I know I did. This is probably the best book I have ever read! I hope you like it also.

Summary: Frindle
Review: The book Frindle, by Andrew Clements, is a very good book. If you like this book then you'll love, The Landry News, A School Story, and A Week in the Woods, also by Andrew Clements. I hope you enjoy Frindle as much as I do.
Nick is a boy at school in 5th grade. Sometimes he has crazy ideas. One time he turned his classroom into a tropical paradise! But wait until you hear about his latest idea: the frindle!
I could never put the book down! Andrew Clements chose to write about something that could actually happen. It made me think a little more about what kids can do. This story is filled with some amazing facts!
Andrew Clements could have made the story a little longer. It kind of got confusing and jumped around.
Frindle's message is that just because you're a kid doesn't mean that you have limited possibilities. Also, you can make up things if you believe in them. Frindle is a great book!

Summary: Full of Frindles!
Review: This book is full of Frindles! It all starts with a boy named Nick who gets in trouble a lot and makes up too many excuses. Nick makes up words for everything. Frindle is a new word for pen and that becomes the new word that everyone uses around the world instead of pen. It is really cool for a fifth grader to make up a word that is used around the whole world. Nick and his frindle will tell you about how he came up with words that would be in a dictionary!
