Rating: Summary: What a crazy book! Review: The Fantastic Mr. Fox is a strangely funny book written by Roald Dahl. I think Mr. Fox is so smart he could get away with anything he wanted to. The three farmers are mean and extremely stupid! One time, one of the crazy farmers shot off Mr. Fox¹s tail. Ouch! I felt so bad for him. I recommend this book for readers of all ages especially those who have enjoyed other books by Roald Dahl.
Rating: Summary: fox gets chased by threee men and then makes underground wor Review: this book was full of fun but it wasn't very livel
Rating: Summary: An exciting adventure for the family Review: The book I think is one of Roald Dahl's best. It is even better than James and the Giant Peach.
Rating: Summary: This book is the best. Review: I like this book because fantastic Mr. Fox always gets around Boggis, Bunce, and Bean. I especially like the part where there's a race between the tractor and the foxes and the part when they sneak into chicken house, the store house and the Bean's secret cider cellar. (Timmy-age 9)
Rating: Summary: The great circle of life Review: Roald Dahl is always funny; but there are also hints of cruelty in each book- pehaps its because of the abuse he relates in his autogiography BOY. Though Mr. Fox must kill for his family to survive, in this book it is done as bloodlessly as possible- and he is quite a hero to lots of animals.
Rating: Summary: You will love Fantastic Mr. Fox Review: Mr. Fox is one of the funniest characters. He is really smart and saves the day! If you like other Roald Dahl books, then you will also like this one. It is really good. I loved it.
Rating: Summary: I really thought this book was funny Review: This book was really funny. Roald Dahl is one of my favorite authors. I want to read Matilda next. You will like this book if you like to read books that are suspenseful. It kept me interested the whole time.
Rating: Summary: This book is a story about how a fox outsmarts farmers. Review: Fantastic Mr. Fox, by Roald Dahl, is an adventure story for kids that are in the 2nd to 4th grade. It is funny. In the story, there are three hideous farmers: Boggis, Bounce, and Bean. They want to outsmart Mr. Fox because he steals their food. They try many different ways to kill Mr. Fox. You will have to read the book to find out how it ends.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic indeed Review: This short, memorable book is one of Dahl's best. The cleverness of the fox in defeating the awful villains is superb. The feast at the end is a fine payoff. With its short chapters and fast-paced plot, it can lure in reluctant readers. Note to the faint of heart: Dahl is often outrageous and seldom politically correct. Kids love him!
Rating: Summary: It's my favorite book. Review: O.K. I'm in 7th grade and it is my all time favorite book. I like fat boggis. He eats the chicken. Bean is kind of ugly he is only skin and bones and bunce is short and fat but he has bad taste in food. I love the feast in the end. MR. FOX.............. I LOVE YOU
