Review: As a mom I love these fantastic books! "If you give a Mouse a cookie" is so much fun to read. There are many others in the series as well. Great!

Summary: 3 year old loves it!
Review: Our little boy is absolutely in love with all of the "If you" books! He wants to read all of them every night before bed. He is having a great time memorizing the next item or action that the story presents! If you buy a child this book, he/she will probably want them all! PS: My husband loves this book too...I think he enjoys reading it to our son more than the boy loves hearing it!

Summary: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
Review: If you give a mouse a cookie was about a little boy who gave a mouse a cookie. Then of course the mouse wanted a glass of milk, and then he wanted to look in the mirror to make sure he didn't have a milk mustache, and the list went on and on. When you finally get to the end their is quite a funny surprise. This book teaches kids about being careful what you do because one thing could lead to another. I recommend this book because it's a cute story and I think people of all ages should read it.

Review: As a teacher I can tell you first hand that children love this book. The children want to hear it over and over again. All of Laura Joffe Numeroff's books are great hits with the kids. I give her books away as presents because I know the children will love them as much as I do.

Summary: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie
Review: The book "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie" was a really good book about a little boy who gave a mouse a cookie. One day a little boy was outside sitting on a rock in his yard when he seen a mouse and decided to give the mouse a cookie, when the mouse was eating the cookie he wanted a glass of milk so the little boy let the mouse inside his house and he gave the mouse a glass of milk. When the little boy gave the mouse the milk the mouse wanted a straw, so the little boy gave the mouse a straw. So every time you give a mouse a cookie he's going to want something with it. This book is appropriate for any age. I read the book and I thought it was a really good book and I think it would be a book that people of all ages can read and enjoy.

Summary: The story of my life
Review: Children really like this book. They like the interweaving of the day, the consequences of each action leading to another. The mouse is cute and enthusiastic, and the boy is sweet and helpful. As a mother, I find this book too similar to my life to be amused. My day is a constant stream of "give this, oh and now give that." I've pointed out to my children that I feel exactly like that little boy at the end of a long day. :-) Despite that, they still like to have this book read to them.

Review: The whole If you series is a fun set to read. The little mouse is adorable and the story can be told to any age. It is a great bedtime book. The mouse and his energy and enthusiasm allows for the child to get into the story. I love this book

Summary: Wrong, just wrong
Review: Everyone knows if you give a mouse a cookie, its little stomach will swell up, and cause terrible pain and suffering. What kind of parent would buy their child a book that condones that? Not mine, that's for certain. Give a mouse some cheese, instead.

Summary: Original and Creative
Review: I bought this book for my son when he was 2 1/2 years old and he's loved it ever since. The drawings are very well done and the story is charming and care free - my son knows all the words without reading. Although the recommended age range for this series is 4-8, I find it an appropriate story for children 2 1/2 and up as long as they refrain from tearing apart the pages! I just ordered two more of the series for Christmas presents. A great book!

Summary: great book!!!
Review: This is a good choice even for children younger than four years (the recommended age). My son is 17 months old and he really likes this book. It is the only one out of all his books that he will sit still long enough to listen to. He will actually go and get it and bring it to me to read. We really like it, and I would recommend it to everyone.
