Summary: Cook's best!
Review: As a first book, this was great. I am pleased at Cook for writing such a great book. HE cares about his characters, and makes you get a feel for their position and who they are. Up to the present moment, I have read three of Robin Cook's books. They were all great but this is the one I preferred. If you choose just one, please do make your choice count by selecting this one. Have fun !

Summary: The story was fair
Review: but this abridgement is the poorest that I have ever heard or read. There were many elements left out of the story, including some that were mentioned on the cover! With all the missing elements of the story, I'm sure there were nuances that were totally missed, leaving just a fair story with no build up or satisfying resolution. What remained was a "B" grade short story, making me very cautious to ever buy another abridgement. If you like Robin Cook, and want to hear this audio book, I strongly suggest you listen to the unabridged version. It most definitely has to be much better!!

Summary: Another one of Robin Cook's works of art
Review: Harmful Intent shows the dark side of hospital employies, although what happens in the book probably would never happen. The Journey through the book causes you to never want to put it down, even for food. This book clearly ilustrates Cook's writing style, chock full of description and excellent dialogue. This book colorfully yet darkly demonstrates an anethesiologist's adventure through the court room, the ER, and the big city. The doctor in the story has a unique want fore fgreedom that he will do anything, and almost tries suicide. This illustrates something happenns a little to often in the world of criminals, however after the attempt he tries to find the true culprit event if it means him being treated in the same plase he works. The book should definitly be added to any Robin Cook's fan's collection.

Summary: Suspenseful medical thriller.
Review: I like the ring of authenticity about Cook's medical knowledge; this makes the book exciting. I enjoyed the book thoroughly up until the end; however, I felt the story was resolved too quickly in the last 20 or so pages, when a new character was added which I didn't think was a good choice artistically. However, this is a highly suspenseful story.

Summary: Amazingly Breath-Taking
Review: I must admit, Harmful Intent was much better than I anticipated. With a somewhat slow beginning, it picked up the pace sooo fast! In my opinion, Robin's protagonist, Dr. Jeffrey Rhodes was unforgetable! Very smart and I loved the way he outwitted his pursuers. Nail-biting suspense from the middle to the end, and the medical terms were understandable to a great degree. But I would like to comment to a reviewer on this book, the novel DID NOT TAKE PLACE IN BROOKLYN NY. It was Boston, MA. Thank you.

Summary: great medical thriller
Review: I really enjoyed this book. The storyline was great; However, the ending left a lot to be desired. This was the first R.Cook novel I ever read and I was not dissapointed. Harmful Intent was suspense at its best.

Summary: The best realistic fictional medical book in a long time!
Review: I thought that this book was very realistic. I liked how Robin Cook made you think just as Jeffrey Rhodes did. You could actually feel the suspence of the situation!

Summary: Great book.
Review: I thought this book was incredible. It's one of those books where once you start you can't put it down. I read the entire book in one night, and I can't wait to read more of her books. So if you are thinking about buying this book I strongly recommend you buy this book.

Summary: ONE OF ROBIN COOK'S BEST.
Review: If you liked "The Fugitive" with Harrison Ford, you will like this book. Very suspenseful.
