Summary: Truth At Last, But What About Justice????
Review: I just finished reading this book last night. A pager turner indeed. Mark Fuhrman definitely redeems himself with an expert account of the facts of this incredible case that has never been brought to justice. Why? Because of the immense cover up done by the Skakels, perhaps the Kennedy's and the entire Police Force. How scary that the police obviously did not know how to perform their jobs correctly, but even more scary is that they were bought off by the Skakel family. In fact, did the Skakels not buy off the entire town of Greenwich?? Seems to me they did. I feel for the Moxley family. Mr. Fuhrman did an excellent job with "Homicide 101" chapter, which outlines in great detail what should have occurred in a homicide investigation. I would love to see this case brought to closure and see the Skakels get what they deserve once and for all. Bravo, Mark Fuhrman for taking a stand and showing us the light!!!

Summary: Incredible. Mark Fuhrman knows what he's talking about.
Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. Fuhrman brings out all the mistakes that the Greenwich police made while investigating the murder. Especially the fact the the police didn't obtain a search warrant when they found the matching golf clubs in the skakal home. I believe that Mr. Fuhrman has produced some valuable information that the greenwich police should look into. The Skakel family have gotten away with murder. Now is the time for either Tom or Michael to face up to what they have done. Justice needs to be served. If not for Martha then for her family.

Summary: A Primer on How to Conduct a Murder Investigation.
Review: From the initial protection of the crime scene to interviewing witnesses and eventually suspects, the author tells us how it should be done. Mr. Furhman makes a convincing argument that the Greenwich Police Department -- inexperienced in the investigation of murder and probably intimidated by a rich and powerful family who sheltered the prime suspects -- was woefully overmatched. Mr. Fuhrman uses his considerable investigative skills to review the evidence and bring us to a logical and fairly convincing -- if not necessarily legally provable -- conclusion of who was responsible for this savage and brutal murder. Possibly the recent appointment of a special Grand Juror, with the ability to compel testimony, will eventually tell us if the author got it right. Regardless, Mr. Fuhrman has clearly made the case that better training of detectives and the employment of consistent standards and procedures for the investigation of murders are sorely needed in many of our police departments.

Summary: Very well done non-fiction story
Review: I am impressed. Mark Furman has a lot to teach the reader about being a police detective. It seems that his new job can provide much of the satisfaction of his old job. Well done!

Summary: Justice for Martha: A Lesson in Professionalism
Review: Mark Fuhrman's Murder in Greenwich is very well crafted-even better than Murder in Brentwood. It is a fascinating, insightful lesson in "Homicide 101," because it is a mapping of a murder investigation. Fuhrman lets us share in his professional experience by showing us a homicide detective's investigative approach, the way it ought to be done. In his clear, straightforward style, he lays out the evidence and shows how to organize one's thoughts so a layperson can follow the logic of the method-and even use it! He is not telling us who killed Martha Moxley-he shows us the evidence he has accumulated so we can draw our own conclusions. In addition, Mark Fuhrman calls for justice for Martha in a passionate, articulate voice. We get to know the Moxleys, and we feel their tragedy, and their sense of loss of all the things that might have been, had Martha not been robbed of her future. And in the end, we share theirs and Fuhrman's hope there will be a grand jury investigation.

Summary: Terrific piece of detective work!
Review: Mr. Fuhrman has found his new career; investigating unsolved murder cases. Using his masterful detective skills, Mark solves the Martha Moxley murder case explaining his conclusions every step of the way. Martha's was a horribly vicious killing whose investigation was bungled by the police from the beginning and stonewalled by the Skakel family with the possible help of the Kennedys. Mr. Fuhrman is to be commended for courageously taking on the Greenwich, CT establishment as well as exposing the coverup orchestrated by the Skakel family lawyers. We hope that some day soon the Moxley family will see some justice delivered for their daughter's horrible murder, and we look forward to reading Mark's next book.

Summary: Solid investigative work in a clear voice
Review: Marks fuhrmans' boook, Murder in Greenwich, is the most informative pice published to date on the murder of Martha Moxley. The book is written in a no nonsense style that get's to the point in a clear and effective way. The book starts at the beginning and step by step takes the reader all the way to a convincing conclusion. Let's hope the police in CT read the book and use it as an outline going forward. The Moxley family is happy that people like Mark Fuhrman are on our side!

Summary: An Appropriate Indictment of a Failed Investigation
Review: Mr. Fuhrman is a terrific investigator. It's unfortunate that the criminal behavior of attorneys have created such a prejudice against Police Officers in America. This book further displays to the majority of law abiding citizens that the criminals in our communities are not just poor inner city youths. The rich and famous often avoid responsibility for their actions with lawyers that are more concerned about money than they are about the law and the meaning of civility in society. The real evil in society is the direct manipulation of law by lawyers who are unable to accept responsibility for their own failures and the failures of their clients to live according to civil principles.

Summary: At Least Fuhrman Drives to a Conclusion
Review: Greentown: while interesting, didn't really drive to a conclusion. Dumas did a very nice job of showing all the contradictory evidence and demonstrating how it could be inconclusive enough to bring something to trial. BTW, i don't blame him since afterall he has to live in Greenwich. What's great about Fuhrman is that he asserts what can be logically deduced from the facts at hand--something which, if it had been done in 1975-76, would have meant that this crime would be solved. Right on, Mark!

Summary: interesting subject, however, not enough for a novel
Review: i am glad that mr furman has projects but i was disappointed inthis effort. not up to murder in brentwood. i feel that the information could have been covered in a 30 page thesis..it is obvious that the local police dept erred in all aspects of this case. the attorney general of con. was no better. i have a feling that either dominic dunne or mark furman will be writing soon about jon benet ramsey...the book is too long and too tedious.. sorry mark.. no prizes, only money..
