Rating: Summary: Another winner! Review: While the Deathlands saga continues to swing between extremes of quality, the Outlanders series uncannily never seems to stray from the depth and quality the author first established in 'Exile to Hell'. After the mighty revelations of 'Iceblood', it might have seemed that the series had played its hand too early but rest assured there are still many unanswered questions! The alternate realities are superbly crafted and well realised, and provide some amazing insight into both the characters and the wider situation that they find themselves a part of. There are also some interesting developments between Brigid and Kane that provide some of the best scenes in the book, but I was disappointed slightly by the new spin it seemed to put on their relationship. Still, with the return of Col. Thrush and multiple twisted realities to explore, it looks like the Lost Earth Saga is going to be a winner for sure.
