Summary: The "BOMB" Baby
Review: A friend of mine told me this was a must get book. She was soooo right. I loved it!!

After reading this book, I could feel the characters' pain, happiness, joy, and the like. I love books that I can feel. I can't wait to read your other books. Keep'em coming girl!!

YOU GO GIRL!!! You have really represented for the sistas!!

You have just received a "FAN" for life.

Summary: Where's the substance?
Review: After reading other reviews I ordered this book thinking that it would be well worth my time. Big Mistake! It was very shallow and very low on substance! The relationship between T.J. and Sandy was not a relationship. It was just sex. I guess I was looking for something deeper in the book. It was just about a sexual relationship and getting childish revenge.

Summary: Very entertaining. I couldn't put it down!
Review: All of the characters will remind you of someone you know (or maybe you will see yourself). They were very real. The book shows us the never ending struggle of how males and females differ in their ideals of what a committed relationship is. THe ending didn't help you decide whos view is the best view, and in real life do we really know whos view is best? We just pray have faith and go for what we know. I enjoy books that leave unanswered questions to real situations.

Summary: Yuck!
Review: An amusing read that kept me turning the pages. A little on the male bashing side, but I got some good laughs from beginning to end.

Summary: EXCELLENT
Review: Hats off to Y. Joe for her excellence in writing He Say, She Say. The book is so good, I read it in one day. To be honest, when I saw the book, I thought it was just another book on relationships. But when I started reading, I began to notice that some of the traits that existed in the characters were present in my own life and my friends as well. I am a college student minoring in Afro-American studies. In one of my A-A History classes, I did a book review on He Say, She Say. After I finshed the review, everyone in the class (including the professor) wanted to borrow the book. GOOD JOB!!!

Summary: Thouroughly disgusted with false interpretations of blacks
Review: He Say, She Say was a complete waste of time. Yolanda Joe tries to capture her youth by overdoing the "hip slang" in the book. That is the least of her problems. For a woman to be as naive and ridiculously feeble as one of our four narrators, Sandy, is absolutely absurd. Joe's emphasis on silly spats shows how juvenile her characters are, and how simplistic she is. Rather than make one believe her protagonists personas, she slowly trudges along with inane garbage that have nothing to do with anything else. When Bebe gets a new hairstyle, there is a major focus on it, clearly displaying her characters adolescent views on people. Her constant references to skin tone and hair texture get old fast, unless this book was supposed to accucentuate how these women feel superior or inferior because of thir respective traits. I found myself angry reading this trash and only finished it just because I'd already bought it. I will not read Bebe's By Golly Wow after this waste of time and energy.

Summary: I Say -Read Now !!!!
Review: I am so guilty of buying so many books and not being able to read them all ! Some go in my TBR piles which was the case with He Say, She Say ! This is one that should not be in your TBR pile if it is, you should take it out to read now! If you don't have it go get it or order it now ! Once you've finished reading He Say, She Say go on to Yolando Joe's next story to find out what is in store for Bebe......after graduation! ^5

Summary: I thought the book wasn't that interesting
Review: I felt that the writer could have done more with the characters and storyline of the book. I also did not like the way the chapter's were split up into the character's thoughts instead of flowing together. It took me a while to finish the book because no part really gripped me. I just finished it to find out what happened in the end although I should've just read the last chapters. I honestly don't think this book was worth the time I spent to read it.

Summary: He Say She say
Review: I have not read the whole book entirely, but this a great book for african-americans, because we can relate to what they are going through, and it also has many details.
