Rating: Summary: It was hard to put this book down! Review: I loved the way this book was written. It helped me remember that women and men have different interpretations of the meaning of a "committed relationship". We all meet (and sometimes fall for) guys like TJ who let us help them out financially like Sandy did, then say stuff like "I didn't ask you to do that for me". I now steer clear of guys like this. Speed was a real character and I am glad he survived his heart attack. I also can identify with BeBe and her quest for a good hairdresser!
Rating: Summary: Feelings and Emotions Review: I read Bebe's By Golly Wow a few years ago, and didn't know anything about He Say, She Say. So when I read the back cover of He Say, She Say, I thought to myself, "Joe must really like the name Bebe, she has two books with a character by that name." Then I started reading the book, and I realized it was the same Bebe from Bebe's By Golly Wow. I thought He Say, She Say was a pretty good book. I like how Joe told the story from four different character's perspectives, yet kept it flowing smoothly. I also liked the characters. Joe's writing style is rather simplistic, but it makes for a fast read. I didn't like Chapters 60-62, because what should have been a very serious, passionate discussion between Sandy and T.J. turned into a mini-sermon about the differences between men and women. It made their situation too trivial. The scene where Sandy gets revenge on T.J. was quite funny. I didn't think ole girl had it in her! (Well, she did get some help from Bebe). I felt let down by how things were left rather open-ended regarding T.J. and Sandy. But knowing that there is a sequel, I'll have to go back and re-read Bebe's By Golly Wow to see what happened to them. All in all, He Say, She Say is a fun, quick summer read.

Rating: Summary: BETCHA can't put this one down Review: I read this book in one day. It was quick reading for me. I liked the characters, they were easy to relate with. I also liked how she split up the characters voices by chapters which takes real talent to write that way. I really liked the characters and laughed with them, cried with them, rejoiced with them. I could see both sides of the situations too - from the sistahs to the brotahs. So, if you want a light read, and something good. Pick this one up, and i guarantee you won't want to put it down when you're finished.

Rating: Summary: Feelings and Emotions Review: I really enjoyed reading this book. Now as I get older I will know what to think as far as relationships, best friends, the type of relationships an young adult will have. When I first saw this book I thought it was going to be boring! But never judge a book by its cover. Soon as I started reading this book it got good the first chapter I did not want to put the book down. I wonder what made the author Yolanda Joe to write such a good book. These characters in this book have different personalities and I really liked that. I will try my best to read other books from Yolanda Joe. As I get older I will see different personalities as far as relationships.
Rating: Summary: Say What? Review: I was very disappointed in this book. The characters were poorly developed and childish. I did not like any of them, and what is the use of reading a book if you cannot identify with the protagonists? Keep trying.
Rating: Summary: WAITING ON THE SEQUEL Review: I WASNT TO HAPPY WITH THIS BOOK. THE STORY WAS ENTIRELY TO SLOW TO KEEP THE READERS READING. I FINISHED THE BOOK AND WAS SATISIFIED WITH THE END, HOPEFULLY THE NEXT BOOK IS MUCH BETTER.
Rating: Summary: COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN! Review: It was the fastest read ever for me. I could NOT put this book down. I was always anxious to see what the next person would say. It was written beautifully and kept my interest THE WHOLE TIME! I was so impressed, I ordered "Bebe's by golly wow". I know it's going to be the bomb!
