Summary: A Must For Everyone!
Review: I was looking for the book for about a year.Couldn't find it here in Malaysia.Went to Singapore. No luck. Cancelled a trip to Bangkok. Finally found it. In Istanbul, TURKEY!. Book is great.Very inspiring.True-to-life story. For the first time I thought I can understand someone's feelings. My MOM.

Summary: a beautiful story.
Review: In a gentle and simple way a story of quiet beauty unfolds. I have never read a story that affected me as deeply as this memory of one woman's love. To feel as close to the main character that my eyes blur with tears as her memories weave across the page. It helped me believe in a world where wonder and beauty still exist, and in what it means to love.

Summary: Don't waste your money!!!!!
Review: It is the most boring book I ever read. I am Italian and I read it in Italian. The language is childish, I don't suggest anybody to loose his time with it. The main point of the book is that: When you have a problem, just go in a dark room, and listen what you heart tells you. Can you believe that? Listen to your heart, he will speak to you. As the great writer Gide said, the worst literature is made with the best feelings

Summary: Très émouvant, très beau

Summary: Nothing special
Review: No, I couldn't put it down, but only because I kept looking for something really deep and true in this book. Unfortunatelly, I ended up disappointed. I would definitely recommend it as a beach literarure, but if you are looking for something that will really touch your soul and change your relationship with mother or grandmother, try something else. The past of certain characters and how it reflected their future is just too predictible and too trivial, that in one point it becomes pathetic.

Summary: STILL WATERS RUN DEEP
Review: Our book club just finished reading Tamaro's "Follow Your Heart." The general concensus was that this very unasuming little book is a powerhouse. The saying "Still waters run deep" is so applicable here. The author uses a letter, which might never reach its destiny to entangle readers in a cross-generational web. A grandmother writing to her estranged granddaughter, (it can't get any simpler than that) and Tamaro takes her readers on a journey through four generations to teach us some very important life lessons. A most definately enchanting strategy.
"Follow your Heart" is a testimony for all women, everywhere. Mothers and daughters should read this book together and behold the unquestionable power that women have on each other, their marriages, and children. This influence is so very powerful that as Tamaro shows us it travels from one generation to another.
If you are looking for insightful reading, yet simple prose,
"Follow Your Heart" is an excellent choice.

Summary: A touching story which still gives pause for reflection.
Review: Straightforward prose with a direct approach that immediately caught my attention with a storyline that combines Same Time Next Year (Neil Simon) and Bridges of Madison County (Waller). A confession of a mistake that doesn't ask for forgiveness, just understanding

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Embarrassing
Review: Talk about self-indulgent. This sad old woman's reminiscences on how her daughter never forgave her for emotionally abandoning her as a tiny girl, and her 'realisation' that her daughter was not too bright, and had a flawed character, is not the sort of thing that you should ever write to your grand daughter as a parting gift...Not to mention her own misdemeanours-having a child outside her marriage and never being honest to anyone...I hated reading about how bright and special and sensitive she was as a child compared to her daughter and granddaughter. No wonder every one left her. I can't understand why anyone would want to hear her philosophy on life, take it to therapy granny.
