Summary: The book for someone who wants there own business
Review: Ok hopefully you're reading this before the other 218. this is the book to get if you decide that you want to be in business for yourself but have never done that or no one you know (really well) has. this book will set the mind set you must have in order to mentally compete with your friends ( who will laugh and ridicule you) and after reading this you will then decide that a business is good especially if I own it, however there's "systems" that you will have to learn and hopefully your system will produce lots of passive income- (the key and only way to have success) with the time to enjoy it. if you have money and no time your a professional, if you have no money but time your "hardworking blue collar". you read this book you will realize that no matter professional or blue you are BROKE. Rich Dad... sets up for you ( the mental toughness) to go from the " masses - employees/self employed " to the business owners/ investors " 2%". Come and join our club. Then read Cashflow Quadrant to learn how to put into action the knowledge you recieved..

Summary: Completely Changed the way I think of Income
Review: I bought Rich Dad Poor Dad and The Cashflow Quadrant. Basically the author shows you the typical poor/middle class financial statement with Income coming in from a job, and going out thru the expense column - meanwhile racking up lots of liabilities in the process, and accruing no assets. (Author's Definitions: ASSETS PUT MONEY INTO YOUR POCKET AND LIABILITIES TAKE MONEY OUT OF YOUR POCKET) Then the author shows the same thing for a wealthy person, only this person uses their money to rack up Income Producing Assets which then create an income stream into your Income column. Eventually, these multiple Asset Income Streams will remove the need for the Job Income Stream, and now you can concentrate on nurturing and growing your assets, and creating even more income from them. EXCELLENT!

Summary: An Eye-opening Book
Review: This book has many messages: The two I would like to stress here are:

1. Learn to understand financial mechanisms and consequences of actions on your cash flow. 2. Use the gained knowledge and act accordingly.

He does not claim to have the perfect recipy of 7 steps to wealth. Instead,he says, go out there and learn to see and evaluate opportunities. The learning is not easy but if you do it, you'll see opportunities (some of them with very, very low risk and immens return possibilities).

I found this book particularly helpful after being prepared for this way of thinking by another book "The millionaire next door". I would recommend, reading "The Millionaire.." first and then "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". together they should give everybody the idea. While the Millionaire Book stresses the "save now and consume later" aspect, Kiyosaki builds up on this by saying "find opportunities to make more money" (which then can be used to save more and get even richer)

Summary: Buy it and lend it to friends
Review: This is a very practical and easy to understand book. I am a Social Worker, very interested in business also. Robert presents a framework to understand financial decisions and opportunities that can be applied to any situation.

I bought several copies of Rich Dad and Cashflow to lend to friends and family. There is a lot of rubbish out there about how to become wealthy etc, but this book is for everyone - the middle class and poor who want to improve their situation.

If you are studying business or interested in improving your financial condition - read Roberts books - they are excellent! Then, lend it around to your friends and family.

Summary: Some Good Information
Review: Mr. Kiyosaki does reveal some useful information about the basics of wealth creation. He is also clear about where he thinks his own father was mistaken about money. Of course he would prefer the reader buy all his books and his board game. Which for Mr. Kiyosaki would amount to some more wealth creation.

Summary: Half of it was like reading my life own story!
Review: I grew up learning the lessons that the author of this book claims will lead you to financial disaster. So far, at 26 years of age, he's absolutely right! This book really opened my eyes to a completely different way of looking at finances.

This is a book about the philosophy of money, not any actual plan to lead you to success. What the author provides is a "financial foundation" that you can use to see if you are heading in the right direction or not.

If you are feeling frustrated about how your cashflow is heading, or if you want to leave the rat race, then this is definitely the book for you!

I've managed to find a "rich dad" in my life, and things are looking much better! I would not have done this if I had not read this book!

Summary: Probably the BEST book on the subject of wealth, ever!
Review: After reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, I have to admit that it taught me more about wealth and cash flow than ANY book I have ever read -- And, I have read quite a few books on the subject! I especially found it helpful with the simplified drawings of how cashflow in different classes actually looks. This book is SO helpful that I had it read within a week of purchasing it, and then read back over three other chapters! Already 2 of my friends have purchased the book and have also told me good things about it....You will not be disappointed!

Summary: Lifechanging
Review: I have read only six books whose impact will be felt throughout my life. Books that I read and reread, either physically or in my mind's eye, throughout my years. This is such a book. I'm sorry that some people have read it, and say it is, "Nothing new." What on our green earth truly is new? Not much. However, just because something isn't new doesn't mean it is old and irrelevant. The way Mr. Kiyosaki communicates the truth within this book about finances and how to be monetarily wealthy is thought provoking, challenging, inspiring, and easy to communicate to others. In short, this book is easily assimilated and very transferable.

Those who want a quick fix will be disappointed in this book because they seek the wrong cure to their financial and personal problems. Like the cancerpatient who wants a bit of morphene to take away the pain so he can go home, but doesn't want to undergo the pain of surgery, quick fixes are for the foolish, the "blind", or the insane. The financial and personal problems which are the subject of this manuscript are a cancer in our society that can only be treated by financially eating right, exercising, and taking care of one's financial body. This book will help you not only diagnose the problem, but help you see where you need to go in order to be where you want to be.

His next book is a great follow up to this one. Read Rich Dad, Poor Dad, digest it, and then follow up with The Cashflow Quadrant. If you really want to fix the financial problems that are plaguing you and your family, this book is an superlative start in the right direction.

God bless.

Summary: A Quick & Easy Read; It's Worth the Time
Review: We all will identify with one of the two dads...most of us with Poor Dad. For all but Generation X, we were told that a good education and a good job with a large, solid company were the keys to the good life and a secure future. Well, most of us now know that it just ain't so! Robert Kiyosaki tells us why we got where we are. The Kiyosaki/Lechter team certainly will not be remembered for their mastery of prose, but the book is worth its price for the graphic presentation of financial statements that will make it possible for us "poor dads" to fake it and explain personal finance and wealth-building to our children in ways they can understand. Who knows, it might also reorient our own thinking enough so we can reverse some of the effects of following bad advice ourselves.
