Rating: Summary: Just Get It. Review: I'd sell my left kidney for the info on this book. I consider myself EXTREMLY fortunate to grace the works of Kiyosaki. I've never had any financial problems after reading this book...(how could I, I'm only 18) After reading this book in one day, the next day I made 3.8 MILLION DOLLARS U.S. (just kidding) So pick it up. Love is love.
Rating: Summary: I only wish that I had read Robert's book in high-school. Review: This is a must read book for everyone but more importantly it is a must-make your children read book for parents. As a parent from the boom-generation you have a finacial, parental and moral obligation to read this book with your children. If I had had this book in high-school I would have more assets, less liabilities and would have known to pay myself first. Because of this book I have begun to look seriously at my life and for the first time I can see the end of the cycle. This book should be given a sixth star and I would like to thank Robert for enlightening me about the world and for teaching me how to make money work for me. I love this book, and I love Robert for sharing it with me. Stuart Smith infinity6@hotmail.com I hope to meet you someday Robert to shake your hand and say Thank You!
Rating: Summary: How to make better financial decisions Review: As a teacher (and probably in the category of "poor dad"), I learned that the pursuit of money was not that classy a pursuit. After reading his book, I look at financial decisions with more rigor. Am I getting myself into more of an asset or more of a liability? Kiyosaki does profess to have all the answers, yet substantiates his claims far enough to make me really appreciative of his sharing. This book is an unequivocal asset, making financial wisdom available to the middle classes!
Rating: Summary: I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THIS BOOK TO MY KIDS Review: ROBERT'S BOOK IS VERY INFORMATIVE. I HAVE PERSONALLY GIVEN THIS BOOK AS GIFTS TO OTHER PEOPLE I LOVE AND CARE ABOUT AND ALSO HAD MY 17 YR OLD AND 11 YR OLD READ IT. IN MY OPINION THIS BOOK SHOULD BE INCLUDED IN THE SCHOOL SYSTEM
Rating: Summary: Life-changing and inspirational Review: I don't get inspired easy because I truly dislike motivational books. I have plenty of motivation as it is, I need knowledge and information. I really enjoyed Robert's book because it is more than a motivational book. There is actually good advice and information here to change one's view of life. If my life were to change dramatically in the next 5 years, I will have owed it to him. The books is readable and flows well. Highly recommended.
Rating: Summary: The book is a life changer for those who read it! Review: Rich Dad Poor Dad is a book that teaches financial literacy which most Americans lack. It should be required reading for every highschooler so we can break the cycle of middle-class "brokeness"
Rating: Summary: Excellent Review: Very thought provoking. Mr Tiyosaki expresses his ideas simply allowing the reader to easily understand what he is talking about. His ideas about growing your assets are very sound.
Rating: Summary: The best book for basic financial concepts I've ever read Review: This is an excellent book from cover to cover. I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about changing their financial position. This book will knock over some sacred cows on it's way to exposing the truth by teaching that financial independance is a choice, not based on your upbringing or previously conceived notion about the rich and how they obtain wealth. I can't wait to read Cashflow Quadrant!
Rating: Summary: This is the most awesome book that I have ever red. Review: This book is pratical and chuck full of advice on how to correctly handle your money. This book should be apart of the mandatory reading for all High School Students. It is a big eye opener. I wish I would have had access to this information at a kid.
Rating: Summary: A superb book for people who wants (and will) become wealthy Review: I had come from a poor environment and at the age of 23, I thought I was doing well with a six figure income and a nice BMW. Now at the age of 24 I'm no better off, actually (financially) I'm worse off. Thanks to the Book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, it's opened my eyes to the financial traps that so many of us fall into. I highly recommend this book to any individual who wishes to improve their financial situtation, regardless of your background. Thanks you Robert. Hopefully, I'll be able to meet you someday.
