Rating: Summary: Simply the Best. Book of the decade! Review: Here is my 'Before and After': Before I read this book I thought that I had enough knowledge and knew enough to be a successful person. After reading this book, I still convinced that I can be successful BUT I realised that I need to learn more. In fact, this book has taught me everything I need to know to achieve my goal which I certainly don't get from my own parents. If you read two books in your entire life, this must be one of the book.
Rating: Summary: This is a "Must" read! Review: For those who are looking at evading the inevitable years of being in the 95%, then RICH DAD, POOR DAD is the book for you. Mr. Kiyosaki offers a poignant and startling tale of himself growing up with, virtually, two dads. He shares the insights and contrasts of two worlds... One rich and one poor. Being a Gen X'er, I found him hitting the mark on so many points that I know that you will need to read the book yourself. This book is for everyone, including your little ones in grade school.
Rating: Summary: One of the BEST "TRUE" Business books I've ever read!!! Review: This book is easy to read and follow, Very basic, valuable, honest usable information... A must for any one interested in wealth... From someone who has been there, this book is long overdue!!!
Rating: Summary: A must read for the whole family Review: After reading Rich Dad Poor Dad there was no doubt in my mind that this book would be entered into the " Must Read" family library. My wife is now reading it and my teenage sons are next. Wisdom for everyone regardless of pass experiences. Lessons to be learned in every chapter. As a business owner, I'm encouraging all my associates to read this book as well as sending it to many of my friends.
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Buy it now! Review: This is an excellent book on the subject of financial inteligence. Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter tell the story of making money in a no-nonsense if not controversial manner. What's controversial are the ideas contained within (and the authors admit that much). Alas, the ideas will most likely be considered contoversial by the 95% that end up with nothing at the start of retirement. However, the 5% (wealthy people) will look at these ideas and probably say that they agree! It just good, common, financial sense! I read this book in one setting, I just could not put it down. Read it, then give it to your kids to read. Join the 5%!Mike O'Melia
Rating: Summary: The best financial book I have ever read! Review: The authors Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter wrote this book in such a way that everyone that reads it will understand what they need to do to achieve financial independence. Anyone who reads this fine story can then immediately start taking steps to begin acquiring assets that produce cash. This is information that is not taught in school. The best financial book I have ever read! A must read!
Rating: Summary: I had noticed that doctors were not rich anymore! Review: I always knew that school was not the only way to be succesful, probably because my dad has always taught me the values which rich dad taught his kids.I always felt unsure becuase i couldnt quite grasp the concepts. After reading this book i had a much clearer understanding of assets and liabilities, i have decided to continue with my commerce degree(just for the sake of learning) and i have read most of the recommended books. I have only had the book a week and i have already made six of my friends buy it. It is amazing and i can not imagine how people would survive without the knowledge it provides.
Rating: Summary: Where were you 10 years ago? Review: or even 15 or 20? I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I grew up in a family where money was not even discussed (much like Robert's poor dad) and eventually got myself into a hole that has taken me a few years to nearly climb out of. I even started my own Amway business a couple of months ago, but I now have a better idea of how I should be(and should have been) spending my money. I know what I'm giving for Christmas gifts this year.
Rating: Summary: Hey YOU, Yeah YOU!, you have to read this book!!!! Review: This book is phenomonal! Anyone no matter what income level, gender, or age can benefit from the material in this book. I'm not even finished with it yet and I can't wait to share it with friends and family. I actually pulled out a highlighter pen (something I never do) and am marking it up for a second read. I thought I was smart about money until I read this. Mr. Kiyosaki is dead on with his analysis of the two diometrically opposed schools of thought on wealth creation. The points he makes, however, go beyond just money and speak to the attitudes and prejudices that permeate large segments of our population. I am an avid reader (both fiction and nonfiction) and it has been a long time since I came across something that opened my mind the way Mr. Kiyosaki's book has and for that I thank him.
Rating: Summary: The book that has got me started building my assetS. Review: This is one of the few investment/motivation books that has actually held my attention from cover to cover. Personal experience is a great way to learn. With Robert sharing his with us it opens up a "human" side to the topic that is rarely seen in these types of books.
