Summary: Short, light read that will touch your soul
Review: I picked up this book on a Friday and had it finished in a single day. What a touching story that's really hard to put down. The story really makes you re-examine your assumptions about the people in your life - you really may not know everything you think you do. The only negative thing I can say is that it ended too quickly. Highly recommended, one of the few books that you'll read again and again.

Summary: Inspiring
Review: You've done it again, Mitch.
I was totally enamored by this book. After reading Morrie I didn't believe I could be touched so deeply, I was wrong. The five people were so real to me and changed my philosophy on how to live life. Doing that which our heart desires, we give back to others in such special ways that we don't even realize we are doing it.
I bought so many copies of the book for friends I may go broke and love every minute of it! Thanks Mitch for touching my life again with your wonderful writing.

Summary: Thought it was great
Review: I thought the book was great. it was very well done. Alot of lessons throughout this book. I will read it again and give to my friends to read.

also like the earlier reviewer I also recommend Nightmares Echo

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Cute but overly simple
Review: This book certain presents an interesting view of the afterlife, but it's overly simplistic with almost no depth or real texture to the story. While I certainly did sympathize with the main character, I never felt like I really got to know him. I was hoping for a lot more from this author.

Summary: ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS I'VE READ

Summary: beautiful!!
Review: well written, beautiful...a must read for everyone. I believe this has got to be one of the best written books

also recommend: Nightmares Echo, The Secret Life of Bees

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great word of mouth
Review: I have heard and read great things about this book. Thus, I'm checking it out here. I think I might get it. I also recommend the book, The Little Guide To Happiness. For personal reasons.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Almost Great
Review: This is excellent writing and storytelling. I agree that it is not as good as Sue Monk Kidd's "Secret Life of Bees" or Rikki Lee Travolta's "My Fractured Life" but it is even better than Mark Haddon's "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" and Yann Martell's "Life of Pi." It has an element of Oprah Book Club to it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: So Good!
Review: Quick read. Worth buying and keeping on your shelf to read over and over.
