Summary: A Reformed Demokrat and witness to media bias
Review: ets cut right to the chase. this book pulls no punches and is going to make the anti republican, liberal , poverty pimpers in to the left want to cry,holler, stamp their feet and do everything to shout out the opposition.This is the tactic the left has used to make its point. The author gives a true and accurante rendition of the left and how they have tried to shut out free thinking in our nation. Coulter pulls no punches and gives examples of how the left
has used lies and deception and of course the bias that they supposedly so strongly fight against. As a former now member, Animal Rights Activist and Jesse Jackson supporter. I can atest to the sleazy underbelly that ms. coulter
so candidly exposes. This book will raise questions for any free thinking American.
The media has labeled it propoganda from the right. I will give the left this much credit, Ms. Coulter is right.

Summary: Ann Slander does it again
Review: There is too much hatred and viciousness in these pages for any thinking person to take her seriously. The errors in this book have been well-documented by many far more credible sources than Ms. Coutler, and even by readers here. Ms. Coutlier is so obviously biased that I found myself completely disgusted with her and her ilk. There is no way she could even begin to write anything even slightly resembling a fair and responsible look at the media today. What pundits like Coutler don't tell you is that the media is owned by a handful of conglomerates, and that people like Rupert Murdock (FOx News, NY Post) and corporations like GE (owns NBC) and Disney (owns ABC)are not owned by liberals but by arch-conservatives. Nor will they mention a study by the Center for Fair and Accurate Reporting, which showed that the major news stations (CBS, NBC, ABC)showed that of 92% of the sources quoted, 85% were white males and 75% were Republican. So unless Republicans are liberals, we don't have a liberal media. As convservative Billy Kristol said "I admit it. All too often conservatives have blamed a liberal media when it is conservative policies that have failed."

Summary: Much-needed effort.
Review: Ann Coulter's the attack dog of choice for everyone who knew the liberals were getting off too easy from their friends in the media. She's a good writer, she has her facts in order, but sometimes it seems she stretches to make her points. Slander is like National Review...or George Will, you agree with it -- mostly -- and when you disagree it almost always is a fruitful exercise to figure out why.

Review: No wonder conservatives have so much fun while the left knashes their teeth! To watch the buffoons around them must make the left feel asinine. Keep printing the books and make Regency publishing rich! All the dirt the left tried to sweep under the carpet. Great read and great wit. With all of the footnotes and great index, you can even look up the facts if you're a liberal and don't believe them!

Summary: My Recommendation
Review: I'll be short and to the point. I recommend that everyone, both liberals and conservatives, read this book. When you have finished, then I think you ought to read the historically and philosophically educational book, "West Point..." by Norman Thomas Remick in order to put your political persuasions into perspective.

Summary: Queen of inaccuracy
Review: One review said queen of one liners - that's certainly true. There has never been any substance to anything this women has written. Just another ultra conservative making a bad name name for us true conservatives. She joins the ranks of cranks Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity, Snow, Hume and to a lesser extent Matthews. They have become experts at twisting, contorting and out of context rantings. These people are truly obstacles to the very world they claim they want. Of all the religions in the world the most taught precepts are of love and compassion to solve most problems - I think these so called moralists are missing the mark. I really hope the liberals don't get their act together because if they'd garner any guts a well orchestrated campaign in the likeness of those she has conducted could bury the whole conservative movement entirely and that would be tragic. The very things she rails against are exactly what is being done by her ilk. Take the offensive before the other reasonable people might be able to say something true. Just more hot air - the only way for a truly thinking person to get through dribble like this is to treat it like it is satire -then it' funny. Feel sorry for these truly finatical right wingers who are in fact religious but have no idea of spirituality whatsoever - not a clue. I will pray for them all and that they do little damage until they see the light.

Summary: Ann Coulter - Lighting up the Liberals closet
Review: Ann Cuolter is an American Hero and should run for office. Only trouble with that synopsis is the multitude that would miss her writings.
Slander is a must read for anyone wanting an explanation for why the political enviroment engages the way it does,and how the media is exercised.

Review: This book is repetitive, biased, poorly reasoned, and pointless. If you need a bunch of extremist ranting to make your life seem better somehow, consider instead counseling. After reading this, many intelligent people will be twice as liberal as they were before.

Summary: Fantastic! Entertaining! Truthful!
Review: I absolutely loved this book. Ann has a gutsy style that reflects wit, intellect, and most of all integrity! It is about time a conservative had the backbone to speak with vigor and honesty. Since the liberal media only presents one side of issues, it is refreshing to see the whole picture. I have read and reread many parts of this book because I enjoy Ann's clever use of words.
