Summary: Well Worth Reading
Review: Any person who reads this book with an open mind will find that Ms. Coulter has pulled the shade up and let the sunshine on liberal attempts at brainwashing. Regardless of what you may say about how Ms. Coulter says what she says, if you don't get into name calling but think and look at facts, you can't come to any other conclusion but that she is correct. One perfect example of the bias she points out is the election night coverage of the major networks immediately calling States for Gore after the polls closed and waiting hours before calling States for Bush. She outlines many, many other such examples. This is an excellent book. But don't take my word for it, read it yourself.

Review: Following on the heels of Good Cop Bernard Goldberg's Bias comes Bad Cop Ann Coulter's Slander. The book is a heavily footnoted accounting of the things liberals say about conservatives in the media. If you have doubts as to the bias in the media, pick up this book. The evidence is overwhelming.

Summary: A book that speaks the truth!
Review: Finally a book that states the truth. This country is finally waking up to a liberal/PC/Socialist highjacking. This book is truthful, and if you have common sense and are able to understand truth this book will make an impression. Read this book and realize that True America needs to stand up to liberals, and remind them that thier way is not what our forefathers had in mind. Freedom, morals, patriotism, and courage. George Washington did not have in mind Political correctness and naievete. ie.... 'Islam is peaceful and we should not Racial Profile'. If we do not do this we will be living with what Israel is going through now (Death and I guess jihad whatever the unhonorable murders want to call it). America wake up.

Summary: Nothing but the truth
Review: This is a great book. Depite what the liberal's slanted (typical) review of this book may be, it is the way matters are in America today. It was the "political right", not the liberals, which created this country and made it GREAT. The path which the liberal's (pronounced: socialist) have taken America down in the last 100 years has been one of moral decay and economic decline. It is plain to see if one has eyes their eyes open and also remembers our HISTORY. One quote which describes it well is "The American culture is journeying through muck and smut, looking for lower ground, not of necessity but of depravity. Unless we change our course, and soon, our destination is either moral anarchy and social chaos, or the surrender of all our freedoms to Big Brother in exchange for his promise to protect us from ourselves." --Linda Bowles

Review: Did the other reviewers on Amazon.com actually read the book? It isn't William Faulkner, but it really is a good book that is well documented. Being a media (especially newspaper) junkie, I was happy to see someone put into print the things I've noticed that big media has been doing for several years. The other reviewers seem to resort to name calling, belittlement, and, well, slander, instead of giving an objective analysis of Ms Coulters book.

Summary: Ann Coulter Fearlessly Tells It Like It Is
Review: I can't help but wonder that if this book is the product of Ann's imagination working overtime, why more liberals aren't simply dismissing it with a disdainful sniff and then studiously ignoring it. I have noticed, however, that many of them are all but gibbering ...in their rage, which means that Ann Coulter has once again touched upon the nerve of truth in "Slander." Couched in her usual brassy and forthright style, Ann refuses to let loose her stranglehold of Democrat, liberal politics and policies and pins 'em to the mat over and over again. NOT a book for the faint of heart -- reading it could just about set your hair on fire. Hey, we know Ann hit the target since this book shot straight to the top of [the] most popular book list. Ooo, I bet that makes the liberals just want to give her the biggest pinch!...

Summary: Leftists Hate This Book Because It Is So TRUE
Review: Ann Coulter's book is well researched and exposes the true agenda of the far left in America. The goals of the far left include: (1) The implementation of an all powerful facist/socialist government that controls every aspect of our lives (2) The over throw of the Constitution of the United States by means of a coup of unelected far left judges (3) The break down of the family ties that have held all civilized societies together since the dawn of humankind (4) Intolerance towards anyone who dares to disagree and expose the far left's true agenda through such means as name calling, out right lies and yes SLANDER. Read the book and become educated about the true agenda of the far left. Ann Coulter's book is well researched and the facts that support her arguments are indisputable.

Summary: What you'd expect
Review: Another review posted here complains about the lack of civil tone in Ann Coulter's book. Anyone familiar with Coulter understands that invective is her personal forte, but it is not as these other reviews contend, blind rage. Far from poorly reported, it is mercilessly footnoted, with many of the quotes of liberals damning in and of themselves without Coulter's help. Face it, people will buy this book because it is funny and because the subject matter here is cause for outrage. It is doubtful the negative reviews posted here were by people who actually read the book. More likely they are the people who can't stand the idea that anyone could ever question the liberal agenda as anything but the saving grace of all humanity. If you know Ann Coulter's work, you're going to love this book.

Summary: It couldn't be said any better or in fewer words
Review: Wow!! The liberals won't like this one. Ms. Coulter is very humorous
quite direct and ties the media bias, politics and politicians into a
nifty little package. It is one of those non fiction books you can
read just for pleasure. I will probably read it again.

Summary: As witty as Oscar Wilde
Review: Unlike the first six reviews, which look for all the world like phony "plants" posted out of partisan mischief, I actually had to wait until the book was in print to read it and write a review. Like Ann herself, it is snappy and clever and often devastating. Hard to believe she has a law degree, her writing is readable, coherent--downright fun. Unlike liberal writing, Ann actually bothers to document every assertion she makes. And her encounter with "Katie Collick" was a hoot--really takes apart this airhead of a "newswoman." The lengthy exposition about the remarkable career of Phyllis Schaffley was fascinating--I had no idea this woman carried such amazing credentials. Ann compares her to Gloria Steinmen--noting that the Ms editor had to sleep with Mort Druckerman to keep the feeble and irrelevant magazine in business. Famous for her clever "shots"--she reminds me of Oscar Wilde and his devasting epigrams. I'll include one of my favorites, which I found quickly with her thorough index..."It is often absurdly said that scandals such as Gary Hart's affair with Donna Rice will discourage young idealists from going into politics. This is mainly said by Gary Hart." Thought the Amazon readers needed to hear from someone who actually read the book, not just some leftwing pranksters trying to poison the well.
