Rating: Summary: Graet Beginning Review: This book is more than a day trading book. I like to hold positions for longer time frames and found great information in this book on news events.
Rating: Summary: Terminology Definitions Lacking Review: I'm not criticizing the book, but the title. It should be "How to Transition to 'Electronic' Day Trading IF You Are Already Well Versed in Trading Techniques." This is not a book for the totally uninitiated, but may be quite good for intermediate traders needing a quick refresher and wanting to know how to transition into day trader strategies and the tools they use. Basic trading terminology is not explained well enough in this book to get a grip on how markets and trading work. As such, can anyone recommend a prequel for this book, since I don't understand anything about trading and the stock market? I don't need to read about how to surf the internet and see lots of screenshots of websites since I already know that, which some of these day trade books are all about. I'm currently reading "How to Read and Understand the Financial News" (Warfield) and "Getting Started in Stocks" (Hall). Thanks.
Rating: Summary: Doesn't Deliver Review: Much of the content of this book is the marketing of additional products and services.Very little content to aid trading. An expensive product brochure!
Rating: Summary: Easy to read and very motivating! Review: I found lots of good information on all kinds of trading strategies - day trading, swing trading(a few days), and long term investing. The author is quite good at letting you know when a technique is better geared for longer term and which ones are short plays only. I can't imagine anyone not liking this book. I have printed out some of the key points in this book and posted them on the walls of my home office. The best thing I got out of this book was to write down my trading guidelines and never stray from them. If this book doesn't get you fired up about trading, check your pulse.
Rating: Summary: Poorly reviewed by many, this is not a one stop shop book. Review: Recently became interested in daytrading, and felt it was necessary to review, read and learn as much as possible before doing a single online trade. The book is very well presented with very much information regarding the broad scope of possibilities from momentum trading to long term investing of securities. If you are looking for a one stop, learn it all in one sitting type of book, this nor any other book will provide it. It seems that many poor reviews were looking for a magic book to do just that. You must realize that this book and any other book are only the appetizer for this or any subject. The ability to succeed in day-trading will come from reading, studying, making and losing money on-line for a period of time. This book will definately open your eyes to the fact that this type of money is not for the weak of heart. The information is concise, relevant and compelling enough to help you decide how far you will be able to go in this or any investing system. Use it as a very strong tool in your pursuit of on-line trading , but remember, if all it took was one book to learn to do this successfully there would be a lot of very wealthy people out there. Easy reading with realistic approach to this lifestyle.
Rating: Summary: Very Disapointing Review: This is NOT a book for beginners
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK IS A GREAT HOW TO GET STARTED BOOK... Review: Of all the books on the subject, this book prepared me more than any other did. I read over 10 books on Day Trading and find the strategies and explanations of the way the markets work clear and understanding. I felt the author stressed education quite a bit, but without education, trading is a dangerous game. Nassar promotes education, period, wherever you get it. I disagree with a few of the other reviews, they are either competitors who never read the book or people who have lost touch what it is like to get started trading. The book is about getting started for those new to electronic trading, if you want to learn that, this book delivers! I found the book worth reading two times; I can't say that about any other book on the subject.
Rating: Summary: Self-Serving zero stars Review: Really a bad book.Selling services and products throughout. What a waste of money!
Rating: Summary: Buy it if your new to the game Review: If you are new to the game, then buy this book. Even a good refresher for those with experience.
Rating: Summary: Worthless Book Review: Definitely won't help you trade profitably.A lot of personal hype to boot
