Summary: This book is a joke
Review: The book is flawed and in no way represents day trading. I only hope that no one takes it seriously. The authour contradicts himself throughout the book and gives strategy advice that can be disasterous. Wish I had saved the money and just threw it in the trash can, or better yet taken it to a casino.

Summary: THIS BOOK PAID FOR ITSELF!!!
Review: I can honestly say that I have made money using the strategies presented in this book! Out of my first ten trades I made money on 7 and I only have about $5000 in capital. Not bad for someone who knew nothing about stocks before I read this book.

Those that gave the book bad reviews obviously expect the impossible: to make money without work. It is not as easy as it sounds and I didnt expect it to be going in. You have to grind out profits all day. You have to develop your own strategies and know your limits. The fact is you will lose money on some trades and some stocks you will have to hold overnight. That is just a part of trading high yield stocks. Im sure the author has'nt cornered the market on strategy. I believe that when trading low risk stocks you have to watch the market and review your charts in order to be successful. Know what you are getting into before you trade. Start small and gradully build your skill level. I think that most people expect the same results and profits as high risk trading produces but this is a differnt world of trading.

And to all you skeptics that think this is a waste of time, talk to the specialist who makes a living this way! This stuff works.

Summary: Word of caution to rookies
Review: This book is intended for the novice trader and I doubt many newbees will be successful following it. I base this on my own experiences after 10+ years of part-time and now full-time trading. Trading illiquid stocks is risky enough, and going in heavy [ many shares ] could be disaterous. The few profitable trades one is fortunate to get will be wiped out is one swift swoop by the trade that goes the wrong way, and it will happen in the blink on an eye. It is foolish to think you can take money out of the mouths of the professionals. In the long run, they win EVERY time. I have the utmost respect for them. The book does have some redeeming value in many good one-liners, thoughts on trading psycology and trading for a living that beginners should take note of.

Summary: Be real, egnore charts and learn the secrets of Day Trading.
Review: This book is one of the best books that I have ever read. He writes from his heart and he says it in a very understanding way. He egnores all charts and past of the stocks, because he teaches the secrets of day trading. He beleives that if you want to make money in a matter of minutes nothing would help you but the information that you get based on your real time quote. If you want to be a good day trader and just a good day trader read this book. You will find his methods very logical and understanding.

Summary: Now THIS is day trading!!
Review: This book was a real eye opener into the world of Wall Street. If you are considering trading over the internet AT ALL then this book will be what you need. This book instructs you on how Wall Street makes it's money and how you can mimick that procedure. Imagine not only making money trading, but doing on a consistent, high percentage basis. You really do not know about day trading unless you have read this book. If you want to make money Trading and not Short-Term investing then pick up this book!!!

Summary: A good read with a different slant.
Review: This book gives some alternative insights to day trading. Since I can't afford to use E-DAT or DAET systems(they require an expensive training course and the commissions are high), this book was written for people like me. I am currently switching to a more affordable online broker. I have not used the teenies approach but knowing that there are lower volume strategies helps. The author is quite honest and even describes some of his past mistakes. I have read several books on trading and this one has several good nuggets of wisdom.

Summary: Great Beginner Book
Review: Although this book got several bad reviews, I felt that it was well worth the money spent on it. Playing the spread is an excellent concept which can be very profitable if used correctly. This is definitely a beginners book though. I wished he would go into some strategies about using level II quotes and playing the NASDAQ market. But overall, I found his explanations of how the Specialist operates to be easily comprehensible and every beginner should understand it before he/she trades online.

Summary: BE CAREFUL
Review: Well, I have been trying the method for four weeks now and my total net profit is $143.50. I believe it can work, but in today's marketplace it is very difficult. Things happen that are not described in the book. For instance, once you purchase a security for say, 6 1/2 (a sixteenth above the bid) and turn around to try to sell it for 6 9/16, you watch the spread change to 6 7/16 to 6 1/2. Bammm. I have lost hundreds of dollars this way. Also, one "loss" is a minimum of $145.00 and more likely much more. If you are impatient you can lose $1,000 or more. It has taken me quite a few "wins" to make up for one loss. Sometimes the trades work exactly as described in the book. Four minutes and I make $104. Most of the time, however, I am stuck in a trade ALL DAY to try to just break even. You can only do one or maybe two trades at a time unless you have a lot of money. The most I made in one day of trading was $220. Also, contrary to what Farrell says in the book, market conditions play a very BIG part in this kind of trading. Look at the utility sector last week and tell me it doesn't. Overall, I think the method works in an "up" market with good volume. Doesn't work so well in sideways or down market with medium or low volume. If you try this method, just be careful.

Summary: Can't Possibly Work!
Review: Like so many authors before him, it just doesn't work. Can't get off the trades due to low liquidity of the type of stocks he says he uses. "Those that can do -- DO! Those who can't Write about it!" Bet you can't do what you say in today's markets. Take me up? I need the bet to get even after trying your lame system.
