Summary: If you are relatively new to trading, this book is for you
Review: The author describes a relatively simple system for day trading non-Nasdaq stocks. I have just read it and so far have been on the winning side. This book is great if you do not like technical reading. Would have been 5 stars but sometimes can get redundant.

Summary: Exciting Book On The Topic of Online Daytrading
Review: I have read Mr. Farrell's book three times through. It has given me a very good understanding of day trading online. Since then, I have made a few trades and they have been profitable. I plan on continuing my day trading experimentation.A few criticisms: The book appeared to be hurried into print. There are a few mistakes that could have been corrected. Also, I would have liked to seen more "what to do if" scenarios, because they DO present themselves and they are not covered in the book. Chris, if you're reading this, e-mail me because I have some questions :-).

Summary: Honest and informative but annoyingly repetitive
Review: I do like how the author spends a chapter talking about one of his biggest losses. He does have a tendency to say the same thing over and over, especially when talking about the specialist in a stock. I see that at least one of his friends left a favorable review here. Katie Macrae is listed in the acknowledgments in his book....

Summary: a very honest book
Review: I loved this book - it is much, much different than the others on daytrading - I'll never look at the markets in the same way again, and I'll never ever daytrade NASDAQ stocks again - this book taught me that the NYSE is a much easier market to daytrade, because of the way the specialist system works -

Review: I cant understand y Amazon would recommenend something of such poor quality.Provides nothing new to the trader.There arer much better books around.

Summary: A perfect 5 for a 5-pages brochure
Review: I bet the author must be a better writer than trader, at least he tells you one thing clear, if not too clear: how the NYSE specialists operate. Apart from that, I would rather forget trading and go back to my current job if the trading world is like what he describes.

Review: I am about 3/4's of the way through this book and it is dynamite! I've worked on Wall Street for over 15 years and take my word for it, this stuff is for real! Best part is the sections on exploiting the bid-ask spread -

Review: Poorly written self promotional book that should be avoided. I found nothing in this book that would increase profitability.The book is like a fat brochure for the authors seminar!!!

Review: But, can't judge a book by its cover,I just purchased this book ,I read the last chapter first as I always do, and if this is any indication of what is to come in the first 12 chapters then this is one of the best books I have ever read.I will be back in a few days(hours) and comment again.

Review: What disappointed me the most is that after reading this book, I could not find a single recommendation that would help me day trading. Also several technical errors leave doubt as to the quality and depth of the research done. Can I get my money back? Probably not. And don't bother reading this book either even if you can borrow it; you will waste your time. The book is nothing more than a promotional brochure for an expensive course that will probably come out soon. There are no secrets to be revealed
