Summary: Wide Ranging, Insightful and Very Well Written
Review: This book is definitely the best book I have bought or seen.
It covers such a broad range of money topics from soup to nuts and it is free of gimmicks.

From starting and managing a profitable portfolio to finding a great job in a down economy this book is brimming with original and useful advice.
Not only does Nancy cover many more topics than other money experts but she does it interestingly and shows the pros and cons of advice being touted by others (such as financial planners, insurance salesmen and women and others with conflicts of interst) so that I could easily figure out which financial products and services would help me and which would only line the pockets of those hucksters.

This book starts lightly and entertainingly so if you are financially sophisticated, you can skip to a more rigorous chapter or topic. The point is that each chapter and the 10 broad "solutions" build from simple to complex information.

Still each topic is easy to understand and her thought-provoking advice is easy to follow and discuss with family, friends and financial advisors.

It is impossible to read any chapter in this book and not walk away knowing more than you knew when you picked it up a short time earlier.

If this book had been mandatory reading in college I could have avoided so many novice financial mistakes and become financially self-confident and fairly wealthy at a much earlier age. How many books can cover trusts, 401(k)s, mutual funds, individual stocks and bonds, insurance, home ownership and credit cards and debit cards without making your head spin or boring you to death?

This book is fascinating and filled with in-depth, solid money-making information from chapter one all the way to the "Time is Money" calendar in the appendix.

I was lucky enough to catch one of Nancy Lloyd's sold out money talks, Like the author, this book is a delight. I have read and reread parts of it as needed.

This is an efficient way to increase your financial IQ. And it is painless to read.

Summary: skewed reviews make me go to library first!
Review: This book starts simply and builds block by block until I got the financial education I had been searching for for years. Plus it works!

The solutions about credit, investing, and mortgage financing (to name a few) are simple to follow and boosted my bottom line within days.

If you want to keep your new year's resolution to get your financial life in order once and for all this is the one book to do it.

Summary: Please save your money
Review: This is one of the worst books written on finance. Nancy lloyd has a lot of fluff in this book and its only marketing. Iam glad my friend lent me this book and I didnt have to pay money for this POS. Compared to the peter Lynch and Graham book, this one is surely aimed for preschool toddlers.
