Summary: A excellent magic book
Review: A friend of mine who skills are in the advanced range recommended this book. The tricks in this book are explained very clearly. It is a simply wonderful book and spells out a wide range of tricks ranging from card magic (my favorite) to impromptu magic, rope magic, coin magic, cups & balls, billiard ball magic, mental magic, stage magic. A very comprehensive book that contains tons of illustrations. An excellent buy for the amateur magician. I have baffled friends, co-workers, and family with the magic tricks I have learned from this book.

Summary: Review of Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic
Review: An invaluable reference tool for beginner and advanced magicians, Mark Wilson's Complete Course in Magic provides detailed illustrations and instructions that will teach magicians of any level to perform a variety of tricks and illusions. See why the Los Angeles Times anoints this book: "the text that...young magicians swear by."

Summary: Nothing up my sleeve AND....Ooops
Review: As an amateur magician I can say this is the best magic book I have ever come across. There are many beginner through advanced type tricks. So what ever your level of experience you will learn something.

A word of warning, make sure you read all of the associated material before attempting a trick. I did not do so and Noodles, our pet cocker spaniel, is still missing. Unfortunately so is the magic book. The family eagerly awaits the replacement text I've ordered. Per my attorney, I am not at liberty to discuss the "sawing a body in half" trick but please be careful.

Enjoy!

Summary: This is a well written book, but only for the amatuers...
Review: For the amatuer magician, this is the book to buy. It shows the simple and basic principles of the many top tricks of the classic performer. However, if you are looking for a book that shows advanced sleight of hand and modern tricks, this book isn't the best. Although it does show some pretty good stage illusions etc, it still isn't as good of a book as most magicians say.

Summary: A must have.
Review: For the person just starting out, or even someone who is seasoned in the skills of magic, this book is a must have. It's easy to understand without being 'overly simplified'. In other words, the tricks included are actually good. No silly, unusable stuff, just good magic ranging from self working to advanced. Get this book if you enjoy magic.

Summary: A great book for beginner to stage performer
Review: I got this book as a beginner and it taught me simple card tricks all the way up to performing stage illusions. I would recommend this book to anyone.
