Summary: One of Brian Jacques Best!
Review: Lord Brocktree is yet another masterpiece of author Brian Jacques. This tale depicts an adventure of two companions, Brocktree of Brockhall, and Dotti the haremaid. These two warriors set out to defeat Ungatt Trunn and his Blue Hoarde to bring peace back to the mountain of Salamandastron, once again.
I thought this book was fantastic. Brian Jacques really puts images into the readers' minds. For example, "It was situated in broad, beautiful woodland glade, backed by a steep, rocky hill, with a stream bordering one side, fringed with [junk] willow, guilder rose, and osier." This book was a lot like Martin the Warrior and all the other Redwall books because they all have characters who set out to bring peace to good creatures and to defeat evil. You won't be able to put this book down!

Summary: War Cry of the Rodents!
Review: The 13th novel by Brian Jacques is Lord Brocktree. It is an adventurous book filled with a wide array of characters. Lord Brocktree starts in the forest with a maiden hare. She meets a powerful badger lord whose father is Old Lord Stonepaw. He is on his way there. Little does he now that an evil villain, Ungatt Trunn is also on his way there to take over Salamandastron. The menacing Wildcat goes to war with the Badger and his groups of Hares as they put up a fight to keep Salamandastron. Meanwhile the Badger Lord Brocktree is having Visions of an old Wildcat. So evil he cannot get it out of his head. He meets many friends that promise to say with him through thick and thin. As they journey on to Salamandastron to take it back from the evil Ungatt Trunn and his army of Blue Hordes.
Lord Brocktree is another exciting adventure novel written by Brian Jacques. He really knows how to bring the characters to life. I really liked this book. It was filled with many exciting adventures and characters, from little baby hedgehog Skittles, to a huge fighting hare. My favorite incident in the book was with the Old hare and the squirrels. The old hare did not like the squirrels and they did not like him. They were constantly feuding with each other and etc. They would not get along at all and were constantly calling each other names. One of the things I didn't like about this book was that you didn't know a lot about all of the characters. Some of the characters that I did like were only introduced for a short time. I also didn't care for all of the sad parts of the book.
The people who would really like this book are the younger crowds. Its kind of hard o get into a book with talking animals unless you are a kid with a wandering and fascinated mind. All in all this book is awesome.

Review: I though Lord Brocktree was a fun and exciting book. I love the way the author goes between the different plots to keep you interested. i thought the fighting hares were the most exciting part, they are brave, and really fast, this was pretty cool.
I have always liked the Redwall books, the ones with Salamandastron are the best because the have more fighting and better enemies. The way the author describes in detail all the little things makes it easier to paint a picture in your mind. All in all this is deffinately a book you want to read.

Review: This book is definantly Brian Jacques best since Redwall. The adventure, detail, and overall fun are still shining through. I don't want to give away anything, but I will say this: In this book, Lord Brocktree faces perilous, heart stopping challenges, and with the help of his faithful hares, he tries to make it through. This book takes place before Mossflower, but after The Legend of Luke, his previous novel. Lord Brocktree is a must-read for any Rdwall fans. I'd recommend it to everyone.

Review: Brian Jacques Lord Brocktree is a spellbinding novel of a mountain fortress called Salamanstron, which becomes besieged by an enormous army of vermin, come to take over the entire peaceful world of Mossflower. The novel is filled with excitement, action, and suspense, guaranteed to keep you glued to the book for hours. A young badger named Brocktree sets out to find a new home, and learns of the mountain Salamanstron, and sets off to join its ranks. On his way he encounters many different characters; hares, shrews, moles, and more. He learns that his father, who previously commanded Salamanstron, has been slain by the vermin army, and becomes enraged. An army is gathered, and warfare begins, but the badger's army is no match for the incalculable size of the vermin army, so he must find a different way of waging warfare. Lord Brocktree is filled with twists and turns that will have you wondering "What's next?" This book should definitely be on your list of books to read, it doesn't disappoint.

Summary: An Alsome Fiction Book
Review: The first reason I liked this book is hoe detailed the character's actions were. Also how they thought and looked like. Another reason I liked it is the sheer numbers of characters there was and there were more and more by the chapter. I disliked part of it becuase it had such a slow begining. I think the best part in this book is when lord Brocktree falt Ungatt Trunn. The match looked pretty even. Then Brocktree stabbed Trunn through his breastplate the Brocktree was shot by an arrow but
that didn't bother him one bit he still killed Trunn. The most vivid part of this story was the characters, the last fighting part, what the charaacters looked like, and how the talked.

Spencer Bates The book "Lord Brocktree" is awesome. If you like any other Redwall Books, you won't be able to get away from this one. The protagonist of this book is Lord Brocktree. Lord Brocktree is a badger who is out to find his father, the badger lord of Salamandastron, Lord StonePaw. The reason for this is because Lord StonePaw is old and will soon die of age and then Salamandastron will have no ruler. Lord Brocktree soon runs into a huge barrier though. An army of thousands and thousands of vermin led by a horrible bobcat named Ungatt Trunn takes over Salamandastron. They find Lord StonePaw and kill him, but the hares that lived in the mountain get out through a secret passageway in the underground. Lord Brocktree meets up with those hares and they gather up all the animals they can find to make an army. They think that the army is big enough to take on the vermin, but once they see all of the vermin, they know that it's impossible.... This book is definitely one of my favorites. I like it because the way Brian Jacques writes is just amazing. It's like he takes his dreams and brings you into them. He likes to write with very well descriptions, poem form, and lots of action, which is really cool to me. I would give this book five stars for a grade with no problem about it. I think that just about everybody should read this book.

Review: This book was a okay book but not a great book. I think this because the plot of the story is very good and the setting really paints a good picture for you. But the characters are kind of strange and Brian Jacques doesn't really give good descriptions. Also i feel that the story skips around a lot and making you feel that something is missing. Because of all of these reasons i have to give Lord Brocktree by Brain Jacques a 3 out of 5 stars.

Summary: The Extreme Badger
Review: Lord Brocktree is a Badger. A badger lord. In the book, Lord Brocktree had a very large obstacle he had to overcome before he could rule as a true Badger lord. He had to overcome the powerful foe, Ungnatt Trunn. Ungnatt Trunn was a strong wild cat in his prime and had previously taken over the mountain Salamandastron from Lord Brocktree's father, who was the previous ruler of the mountain. Lord Brocktree needed in order to gain the mountain, a massive army of willing animals who would fight the forces of Ungnatt Trunns vermin troops. While looking to complete his task, Lord Brocktree stumbled over a few other animals associated with powerful forces in other parts of the land. In fair challenges, Lord Brocktree and his friends gained the respect of many others and would begin to prepare his army. I enjoyed this book because, most of the time, I would find it fairly stupid to be reading about animal adventures. The author however had critically described traits of every creature throughout the book making it enjoyable. The creatures dialect was very diverse and it took me a second try at some parts to understand the speaking of some of the animals. The book is a very creative story and the action is very descriptive. It is very easy to get a hold of what kind of personality and backgrounds the characters come from this story does a very good job at bringing back the old good versus evil theme. I learned through the book that sometimes if you want to make something eye catching and much more exciting, just changing the way you have your characters speak will make it much more dramatic. I also got a taste of the technique of writing where the author writes two or more different scenes and switches back and forth between them throughout different chapters. Comparing this book to others that I have read, I must say that for an animal characterized book, it may have well beaten out some of the older books that I have read. I would recommend this book to 7th graders and higher because some parts of the story may be difficult to comprehend. I feel that this book was one of the better ones that I have read.HI

Summary: Redwall's Lucky 13
Review: Lord Brocktree is by far the best book in the Redwall series. It is filled with action, adventure, danger, death, destruction, courage, and freedom. Ungatt Trunn and his Blue Hoardes of wildcats have invaded the mountain of Salamandastron, leaving it up to Lord Stonepaw, his son Lord Brocktree and their friends Dotti the haremaid and Ruff the otter to save everybeast in Redwall from certain death and destruction. I thought this book was very well written, with graphic war scenes, strong (yet not obscene) language, admirable protagonists, and an unforgettable ending. Brian Jacques is at his peak of genius with Lord Brocktree.
"Stay steadfast in hope, courage, and determination, and even the impossible becomes possible". I believe this statement best sums up the theme presented in this work. I rate this as a 4-star book because even though the writing style and flowing plot made it an exciting enjoyable read, it was confusing to follow sometimes with so much happening at once. For any fan of medieval style society, epic battles, and a clever tale sure to keep you turning pages, I recommend Lord Brocktree by Brian Jacques.
