Review: This book is really amazing! It's about a small, runty bat named Shade. Ever since the battle between the beasts and the birds, the bats have been banished from the sun. Now Shade wants to see the sun. The only problem... OWLS! The owls burn down tree have, the homne to all of Shade's colony of Silverwing's. In the end, the colony has to travel to their hibernation for the winter early. But! Shade gets lost in a terrible storm and is shipped over to an island where he meets Marina, a brightwing. Together they travel to try to find Shade's colony. Then come Goth and Throbb, two jungle bats who's wingspn can reach up to 3 feet! That's a lot bigger than shade and Marina! If you're really interested you can watch Silverwing on channel 486 at 8:00 Saturday nights. I would highly recommend this book for all ages. It really is an adventure that you should go on!
