Summary: Good discussions for beginners in the digital world
Review: I got a lot out of this book, actually. As a long-time digital print developer just newly exposed to other digital technologies, I found the discussions about the pros and cons of various electronic formats helpful. The information about online viewing/distribution impact upon layout was very helpful -- eye-opening actually. It is readable in one good sitting.

Summary: Great Book for Beginners
Review: This was an excellant book. If you are just starting out as a graphic designer, this book is a must have. The hardest part for me was trying to get my hands on a copy. This book gives great info to prepress, trapping, proofing, color correcting and the printing process. I would like to see more books like this one.

Review: With thick shiny pages, snazzy graphics, and brilliant color that one would find in a brochure, one comes to the conclusion that the book looks great but there is no substance. Most of the material is what one would find in an Adobe Acrobat advertisement - skip this one.
