Summary: Not a good giude at all
Review: When I first got this book I egarly opened it, expecting to learn my first tips on visual basic. But what I got was a book full of useless information that in its extreme simplicity put the actual point of it's teachings so far aside that you need to dig through the book to find any tiny bit of usefull information. You don't even learn any coding in this book until chapter 3, and then it does not even give you many hands on examples it kind of leaves you sitting there screaming What the .... does that do. At points it goes chapters without telling you anything that makes any sence. One of the only usefull tools in this book is its visual basic demo CD witch is something that you could get in ANY other book on VB. After finishing this book I enroled in a community collage class on Visual basic. I literaly learned more on the first day of class than in this entire book. This is DEFINENTLY not a good reference for any present or future VB user.
