Summary: Overall good, but needs to have more practical information.
Review: This is the best book of its kind I have found to date. Having said that, I wish there were more tips and tricks for the everyday users. We need something that shows us how to do practical stuff. Nobody is doing that.

Summary: GREAT FOR BEGINNERS!
Review: This was my first Access book. It required little background knowledge going in. It covers everything from basic concepts to macros, switchboards, and VBA. I was surprised to see the negative review regarding the included CD. I found it very useful for analyzing objects and code. It gave me some great ideas for my own applications. My only complaint was that it could have flowed better. It does skip around from time to time. Probably the most impressive comment I have is in regards to the author. When I was stuck early on and couldn't find the answer I needed, I emailed the author. He responded within 24 hours with an answer and even sent sample code! It doesn't get better than that.

Summary: I'm now an Access Master
Review: Well it may be LOONNGG AS HELL but if you've got the time and dedication you'll be a database guru! Even integrate it with your web store! This book and proggy is great! It is written in a very readable form even for the non-techie but you HAVE TO TAKE YOUR TIME and DO EVERYTHING IT ASKS YOU TO DO!! DON'T SKIP CHAPTERS!! You won't be a master overnight but it will definetly be worth it.
