Summary: Great information!
Review: This is a very good book and will assist anyone who wants to persue the CCNP 2.0 certification. It's also loaded with many real-world examples that includes a step by step configurations for switches and routers at the end of every chapter. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is currently persuing Cisco's CCNP certification. More books should be written in an easy to read format like this one. Money is well spent on this book!

Summary: Switing 2.0 Exam
Review: This is a very good book for the Switching 2.0 exam.95% of the exam contents are covered in this book.I passed this exam with a score of 922 using only this book as the study material.

Summary: good book
Review: This is best books for Cisco on Multilayer Switches. I found this book very useful.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Easy to understand, but inconsistently edited
Review: This is one of the better-written Cisco Press books I've read. I read the book over an otherwise quiet weekend, and passed the CCNP Switching test _easily_ the following Tuesday. The material is presented pretty well, and it covered all the key content.

The book does suffer from some errors missed (or introduced?) in the editing process; this is a typical Cisco Press issue. If you've read many CP books, you know what to expect (i.e. frequent errors in examples and figures.) Maybe they consider it a learning tool (e.g. find the mistakes...) It's annoying, but not overly problematic, in this particular book.

Summary: Best Book for CCNP 2.0 (BCMSN)
Review: This is the best book to pass CCNP 2.0 BCMSN Exam. Every thing is very clear and easy to understand, but you should be having some basic understanding to networking. If you don't have practical experience on Cisco swithces you may need additional book. (ISBN 0071349820)

Summary: Worth the money
Review: This is the only thing I used for the test. I spent a week reading this book and then reviewing it. After that the test was easy. I have hands-on experience with switches though and nothing can beat that.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good book
Review: This was a good book, however, I wish that it came with a testing CD for the price. I just passed the exam today with a 879 using only this book along with hands on experience. The book does a good job of covering all topics related to switching from vlan to multicasting.

Summary: An excellent foundation for building switched networks
Review: This was my first Cisco Press book that I have read, and I found it both informative and interesting. Karen is able to organize and explain the topics very well. I take care of Catalyst 5505 that was installed before I came, and now I understand how the device is able to "route once and switch many" I have not taken my CCNA or CCDA exams yet, and was able to fully understand the topic.

Summary: bulll-eyes...bull-eyes...that's all I can describe.
