Rating: Summary: Relationship Marketing--for big and small companies Review: I just finished Roger Parker's book "Relationship Marketing on the Internet" and highly recommend it. Too often, "business" books are written just for those employed by large organizations. Parker's book, while providing a wealth of information for marketing professionals, is also an invaluable tool for small business owners and even independent contractors. If you are in business and you have a web site, this book is a must read.
Rating: Summary: Indispensible Review: I keep referring to Parker's book over and over again. Even someone who has been marketing via the Net for several years will find this text a cogent, insightful and organized source of help. I can't imagine my Web-based efforts without its guidance.

Rating: Summary: A Must to Read, Then Do Review: I love this book. It gave me just what I needed--focused, clear steps to creating my business on the Internet. He has all these worksheets. All I have to do is do the work, but the order and process Roger has set up. Reading then doing the worksheets in this book will pay dividends. I am already experiencing that in my business. I'm a small business and his ideas and processes work for me.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Treatise on E-marketing!! Review: I've been marketing and selling on the internet since 1995. There is one specific idea in this book that IF you actually use it, you will almost certainly triple your business. (No kidding) I definitely wish I would have had this book 5 years ago. However, I have it now and the fundamentals are superb. Parker takes you through the strategies that bring people to your web site and develop a web site that gets people to come back again and again. I absolutely love this book and strongly suggest you pick it up. ...Isn't it worth it to gain some powerful, usable and workable strategies that will make you 1000 times the investment?! It's a no-brainer! Kevin Hogan...
Rating: Summary: Smart new perspective on web advertising and marketing Review: It can be near-catastrophic for an organization to find that, after spending thousands of dollars developing a site, there is some strategic flaw in the reasoning behind it. In "Relationship Marketing On The Internet" Roger C. Parker lays out the why, what, and how of real-world web design - less theory and more hands-on, step-by-step detail with lots of streetwise tips, worksheets, and case studies.
Rating: Summary: Still good as gold Review: Most books published this long ago look incredibly dated by now. This one isn't. Everything in it still rings true, and it's a shame more websites don't heed this man's advice.
Rating: Summary: A must-have book for businesses with Web sites! Review: Roger C. Parker's newest book is another gem! It's full of indispensable tips on using the Web to enhance the value of a business' greatest asset - its existing customers. The book is well-thought-out, well-written and very reader-friendly. The 25 case studies cited throughout the book help readers relate Parker's points to businesses like theirs. Every business owner with a Web site should have a copy of Relationship Marketing on the Internet in his or her library!
Rating: Summary: How can a book be any more valuable? Review: Roger C. Parker, a prolific author, is best known as being a genius of design with the written word. However, this book expertly covers all of the most important, and most frequently overlooked - or, even worse, ignored - aspects of making one's Web site really work. Every company, organization, and individual that has a Web site wants it to do something for them. Mr. Parker's counsel and detailed guidance will help anyone and everyone to understand what their Web site's value can be - and then get it done. The case studies are terrific illustrative examples. Much of what I'm incorporating in my site promoting my commercial photography business I've picked up from Roger's book and the case studies of a business similar to mine included in it. However, I also now know I'm only scratching the surface. With the continuing guidance of this book, I'm sure my Web site will grow greatly in importance as a real business asset for me. What more could I ask from any book?
