Summary: A Must Read for Internet Marketers
Review: Roger Parker displays a solid grasp of internet marketing fundamentals. His unique style presents not only the trends and best practices for relationship marketing on internet, but he also gives detailed implementation information.

After reading his book, I have already taken steps to change the approach we are using in several sections of our corporate web site. I also found his discussion of how to engage the customer at each stage of the buying cycle very valuable. For those considering email marketing, this book is a must read.

The last section of the book presents a large number of case studies for various types of businesses. Detailed examples of how to use your web site and email at each stage of the customer relationship are included. Best of all, this book [is] a real bargain!

Summary: Comprehensive how-to - excellent!
Review: Roger Parker is one of the wise sages of our time, and in this insightful, readable, useful book he shares the secrets of successful internet marketing. Powerful stuff here that goes way beyond the normal platitudes - you'll find it immediately useable as well as interesting...

Summary: Looking From a New Perspective
Review: Roger Parker's book helped me to re-focus on the web as simply a new technology tool. Proven and tested marketing principles need to be applied to this new tool in a way that attracts repeat customers to our websites and make them our advocates. With succinct and useful steps, Parker leads the reader to develop this "relationship cycle" by providing meaningful content that assures successful business. A great resource and highly recommended!

Summary: Old wine in a new bottle
Review: Roger's mastery of relationship marketing goes way back to the years he worked in advertising. In Relationship Marketing he expertly bridges the gap between the old tool set (newsletters, brochures, thank you notes etc.) and the new internet driven technology that augments and in some ways replaces that old tool set. His examples are helpful, references useful, and the structure engages the reader (even an old one like me) in looking at relationship marketing on the internet as a possibility, not a threat. As usual well-written and worth reading thoughtfully.

Summary: An excellent book for those new to online marketing
Review: This book is fantastic for those who are new to online marketing. It also provides an excellent resource for those who been in the industry for a long time. I checked over my current web projects to make sure they were up to spec with the suggestions in the book. This book won't disappoint.

Summary: This is an important book...
Review: This book is immediately and genuinely useful. The author made the book a quick, fun read with features like self-evaluation questions, case studies and good design. It's targeted to entrepreneurs and mid-sized companies, but big companies that are wasting tons of money on "big splash, no cash" websites ought to follow the business-building tips presented in this book, too. My favorite: the chapter on writing scenarios to identify visitors information needs. My only complaint: I wish the section "Dealing with Outside Design Firms" was longer. Read this book before spending a dime on your Web site!

Review: This book rocks! Mr. Parker obviously knows what he's talkingabout with regards to the relationship marketing arena -- an arenathat is certain to become the only consistently successful means of promoting our businesses. It's jam-packed with info and worksheets... what everyone doing business online (or WANTS to do business online) needs to succeed. Highly, highly recommended!

Summary: Practical tips -- not more Internet hype
Review: We are beginning to see articles in the press saying it's time to stop talking about revolutionizing business with the Internet and actually start doing it. Roger Parker's latest book tells you, step by step, exactly how to do that -- getting results from your Web sites instead of friends telling you it looks nice. This is practical stuff you can and should be doing right now -- not the usual rah-rah cheerleading, psuedo-profound statements, or blatantly obvious concepts hiding behind made-up jargon. Get this book, read it, do what it says to get a better return from your Web investment.
