Summary: Begginers: save your money!!!
Review: This book shows you what Delphi can do. It doesn't show you how you can do it!!. If you want to learn Delphi or the database environment you need other book (I'M still locking for one).Finally, I beg your pardon for the one star score. I couldn't find how to put -5 stars!!!

Summary: Intermediating Delphi 3?
Review: This is a nice book for beginners or programmers at the intermediate level, but it doesn't cover anything too advanced. It's not quite "mastering" Delphi 3. Also, maybe they've fixed it, but I purchased this book right after it was published and the index is completely wrong. The topics listed in the index are correct, but the page numbers it points you to is completely incorrect, which renders the book about useless as a "quick reference".

Summary: Start here first
Review: Very easy to read. Marco takes you through Delphi from it's roots in Object Pascal. Marco's a very funny guy in person and it comes through in his code. Entertaining and educational. Has beginning material that you won't find in Mastering Delphi 4.
