Summary: Revolutionary!!
Review: I highly recommend this book. I have read several other books about day trading but they weren't nearly as informational nor as enjoyable as this one. This book gives as step by step introduction and setup on how to turn the stock market from high risk to high probability. I have made steady, and consistent profits using the software and strategies this book has to offer. I have friends who have done day trading for a long time and they have been overwhelmed by the revolutionary strategies in this book. A MUST for anyone trying to make money off the stock market!

Summary: Compared to others
Review: If you are a beginer day or online trader, with some basic market knowledge, this book by Bob Baird and Craig McBurney is a MUST!!!I read 5 or 6 books on this subject and none of them come close of the clarity and explanation from alfa to omega as "Electronic day trading to win" does. You will not be left hanging about meanings and examplers and how to do it. It's ALL there and then some. This book is worth it's weigth in gold. BUY IT!!!

Summary: UNBEATABLE FOR BEGINNING DAY TRADERS
Review: If you are new to the world of Day Trading, or thinking about starting, then this is absolutely the right book for you! Bob Baird and Craig McBurney did an excellent job presenting the facts on Day Trading in a way that was easy to understand for someone new to this fasinating field. Most of the articles and books I have read in the last 4 months were aimed more at experienced and seasoned investors while the written words sailed at least 25 feet over my head! "Electronic Day Trading to Win" speeks directly to the reader and explains day trading on a level that is neither condesending or vague, as I experienced from Brokers I had asked for advice. I learned more in the 2 days reading this book than I did in 4 months online and speaking to two brokerages! I read the some of the other reviews, and I'm sure there are other books out there tailored more for what they might need. And besides, if some people know so much about day trading, why then do they need to read books on the subject?

Summary: Definitely worth it if...........
Review: It is worth it's weight in gold if you really understand position sizing and exit strategies. If you don't really know yourself and the rules of the game daytrading will deplete your bank account really fast. Read Trade Your Way to Financial Freedom , by Dr. Van Tharp one of the orginal Market Wizards and you'll understand what I'm talking about. Daytrading increases your opportunities but if you do the classic mistakes you be the 90% who lose money daytrading. If you really understand the rules you'll be the 10% who makes all the 90% losses. I have been trading professionally for about 6 years now and this can give you some ideas.

Summary: Converted to day trading
Review: Not being a particularly active investor I found this book to be a 'real read'. After finisihing it I reread it again and am now looking into some of the suggestions made in the book. It is easy to read and written at a level that can be understood by all yet covers the most salient points. Its a big leap to start day trading but this book is a great starter explaining pitfalls as well as opportunities. I would recommend it to anybody wanting to day trade.

Summary: Opens the dooor
Review: Opens the door to successful day trading. As an experienced day trader I appreciate the concepts that are outlined. I have always specialized in penny stocks and I am always looking for addittional books to help me with the trading side. My introduction to penny stocks, The Guide For Penny Stock Investing, by Donny Lowy, has taught me how to combine penny stock research and trading to make serious money.

Summary: Excellent well written and humorous
Review: Picked it up and could not put it down. Had me rolling as explained how orders flow and why. Explained marketmakers and day traders. I have read several books on daytrading but this was far and away the best of the bunch.

Summary: A Total waste of Money
Review: The authors engage in an endless discussion of irrelevencies. Not good work. A much better book is Strategies for the Online Day Traders by Gonzalez and Rhee, which is really fine work and a must buy.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Non-Traders Provide Garbled "Insight" Into Day trading
Review: This book is a must only if you crave erroneous information about day trading and investing. There is NOTHING useful or informative in this opportunistic publication. As a professional day trader i am stunned at the lack of knowlege not to mention insight(what a joke!)about short term trading.AVOID!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Puts all the pieces of the Day Trading puzzle together!
Review: This book puts all the pieces of the Day Trading puzzle together like nothing I have ever seen. One critical piece is the Trading Screen. There are many services offering a wide variety of data, charts, graphs, etc., but users are left on their own to figure out how everything works together. Baird and McBurney not only clearly explain how everything works, but provide a complete Trading Screen setup. This custom screen has more information conveniently available than most traders would probably be able to arrive at on their own. Most likely, they would lose their stake and quit before being able to tweak their screen into a truly workable one like Baird and McBurney's. I am convinced that this essential tool alone will make the difference between success and failure for many traders.
