Rating: Summary: Buy Stock in Trader Joe's.... Review: ... because you'll be back again and again and again to buy more nuts. I've tried five or six recipes so far and they are all great... imaginative and easy. But I'd suggest doubling them, because they don't last. I made what I thought was an entire weekend's supply of chipotle almonds and vanilla walnuts for a camping trip, and they were gone by the end of the first night. The author suggests giving some party nuts as gifts, which is a great idea. I think a copy of the book and a box of pecans au poivre will be my holiday standard this year.

In fact, I am going to give a copy of Party Nuts! and a bag of Lauren's Walnuts (recipe in book) to just about every one of my clients and friends.

Rating: Summary: I am nuts for these nuts!! Review: I entertain a lot and was thrilled to find this book. I have bought all of Sally Sampson's books; they are great and every time I cook from these books, I get raves from my guests. Now with this book, I can wow my guests from the second they walk in the door! The black & white sesame almonds are so good I've made them twice. These nut recipes will also be great for holiday gifts!! Can't wait!
Rating: Summary: She's just nuts about nuts! Review: If you are as nuts about nuts as Sally Sampson is then you'll love this book. Then again, if you're not into making a LOT of different nut recipies you might want a general cookbook. Personally I found the recipies to be as good as one would hope and the presentation was solid (even if nobody would ever serve nuts in a martini glass).
Rating: Summary: Both savory and sweet mixes are featured Review: Party Nuts: 50 Recipes For Spicy, Sweet, Savory, And Simply Sensational Nuts That Will Be The Hit Of Any Gathering is not just for holiday celebrations, but deserves year-round attention for its focus on party nut blends which make for both perfect parties of any kind and gifts for any occasion. Rating: Summary: An essential addition to my cookbook collection! Review: Sally Sampson has packed more good ideas into a small volume than just about any other cookbook author I've read in years. Party Nuts is beautifully produced, but more importantly, it's well written and sharply edited. Stripped of the self indulgent fluff of so many cookbooks, Party Nuts provides such a welath of wonderful, simple, sweet and savory recipes that it's nearly impossible to decide where to begin. The photography is elegant and appropriate, and the book has that nice snack-size feel that makes me reach for it every time we have company. This is a superb book and I highly recommend it to anybody who likes to entertain!
Rating: Summary: Party Nuts: 50 Recipes for Spicy, Sweet, Savory, and Simply Review: The recipes in this book are absolutely wonderful! However, the binding is absolutely terrible. I have been using this book for only two weeks and it has totally fallen apart. If you want to keep your book nice, check out a copy at the library to use while experimenting with the recipes.
Rating: Summary: Nuts to You! Review: This is a wonderful cook book. My family, friends and co-workers absolutely love the recipes I've made for them. This holiday season, many batches have turned out as gifts (what didn't get nibbled along the way). The book fell apart though - I had to reconstruct the book with a cerlox binding after a very short time.
