Summary: Beautiful book on Zep flying high over the Alps. A must!
Review: Captivating, original and well put together, this book focuses on a band prone to make it to the top through sheer hardwork and total dedication with Montreux and it's folks as the backdrop to shows that remain legendary in Europe. It's Zep at its finest hour flying high and making a name for themselves in the trenches of Rock. The book is beautifuly laid out, well researched and the raw energy coming out of the B & W photography demonstrate the mayheim that was taking place on the Swiss Riviera 30 years ago. It's a pleasure to discover a fresh angle on an old story and this book, rich on visuals takes you back to a place Robert and Jimmy still find welcoming judging by their recent reunion there in July of this year. A must have for Zep Heads and their friends, you can't go wrong when the project is fully endorsed by Jimmy Page.

Summary: Raw Zeppelin!
Review: Got the Montreux book for Christmas. It's a great trip back to when hippies roamed the earth. Are any of you guys left? :-) I wish there were more pics of Bonham but other than that it's very cool. Now if we can only get some Montreux VIDEO that would be great!

Summary: A Journey Back to the Birth of an Era
Review: I found this book to be quite enjoyable and nostalgic for me and brought me back to the old hippie days. Quite a nice design and look to it as well. I highly recommend it.

Summary: NICE BOOK
Review: I loved the overall look and design of LZ The Montreux Concerts. The photos are great too. At 26, I'm too young to have experienced any of it first hand, but after reading the book it seemed like an amazing time in Montreux. It's a great addition to my Zep collection and the charity benefit is a bonus.

Summary: Nice pictures
Review: I think this is the first publication from Rapallo. This is a nice picture book. It contains very rare photos of Zeppelin, plus the Swiss hippies who lived in Montreaux in the 1970's. However, I am disappointed by the paucity of text contained. Not enough information. Plus, as nice as the photos are, they were not arranged in any cohesive order. It took a while to figure out which pictures belonged to which year.

Summary: Loved it!
Review: I was pleasantly surprised when I received this for my birthday (thanks hun!). The first thing that hit me was the gorgeous design and terrific photos. Loved reading about the shows and interesting people and "hippie" scene. A+

Summary: Raw Zeppelin!
Review: I was really impatient to hold it between my hands, but when I got this book my first impression was:
Why have they called this book "Led Zeppelin - The Montreux Concerts"?
Gilles Chateaux describes very well the life during the 70' in this splendid city but to document itself on the Zepp concerts in Switzerland, I would rather advise you to seek the originals "Rock and Folk". The concerts are longer described and have as many interesting photos.
The only positive point being that part of the benefit will be useful for the ABC Trust foundation.
