Rating: Summary: This is a good book for second time players Review: This is a good book with lot's of details especially important for beginners. Of course, I recommend not using a guide the first time around so as not to kill the experience. It is great for those who are going back for the fist time to get everything they missed. However, once past this stage, this book becomes useless as players start to commit to memory all of the information. Although it is still great for a reference guide to items, materia, and enemies. Also, this book doesn't contain all of the knitty-gritty secret stuff, but only things like Hidden Items. It says nothing about the Hidden Duel to get Final Attack or anything like that. Good Book..Good Buy
Rating: Summary: Told all and more of the things i needed to know. Review: I loved the book (official guide) because it told me all the places I needed to go,and could go alternatively. It was aiso in color and told of where all the items, weapons, materia, and the best ways to get to them, were. The guide featured maps and boss stratageies that made me win the game undefeateed. The Final Fantasy 7 Official Statagy Guide gets an easy 5 stars from me.
Rating: Summary: This guide has been the best I've ever seen!!! Review: The guide gives you a tremendous amount of detail of the game. I haven't seen a better guide since the guide for Zelda: A Link To The Past.
Rating: Summary: My Thoughts Review: It's a great game! Buy it or be an unhappy person. There's lots to do and a great replay value.
Rating: Summary: Great Book, Nice Details and graphics, totally cool. Review: This book is really cool.I like RPG games and I must say that this is the greatest one I've played since FF3. Final Fantasy VII is great for both playstation and PC. I played it on Playstaion and thought it was great and when it came out onto PC. I was really excited. This book is great for helping you on the PC version.
Rating: Summary: COMPREHENSIVE, but a little unreliable. Review: This book provides great info about the game, esp the secrets (the Vincent waterfall and the Ruby Weapons part) but it neglects the main walkthrough of the game. Sometimes it even gives wrong information-I've to look for other guides. I think the online guide by K Megura is much better----and it's FREE. If you have trouble completing ff7, refer to this one.
Rating: Summary: Best stratgey guide I ever read Review: I saw it at a friends house. it gave all the codes and all the answers. I am going to get it on the mac, and I am going to buy it (no, not thinking of it)
Rating: Summary: Not bad Review: The guide is lacking in some areas, but is still okay. But if you are looking for a challenge, try doing what I did; beat it first, then buy the guide, see what I missed, then start over.
Rating: Summary: From MASTER to all of you Review: DONT BUY THIS ONE. If you read this guide the game will become boring. Every game become boring if you hav his strategy guide. The main idea from this game is to kill Sephirot by yourself, but if you have the guide the game will become so easy that you will finish it in only 40 hours(usual hours of game play 70-199 hours). If you like your money dont buy this book. Take my advice: USE THAT MONEY IN OTHER THINGS LIKE GOING TO THE CINEMA. THIS BOOK SUCKS
Rating: Summary: This book was never checked by the company Review: FF7 is great.. In this book, it gives you some miss information about Materia and where to find it. Sometimes it just tells you to "Go to the piggy thing" and you have no idea what the "Piggy thing" is! I think that they gave you a ton of information about most bosses. They do need some work on the two Sephiroths and the American Monsters. I think that they should really give the HP for the American Monsters and Sephiroths. On some of the enemys, they made typos. Where it said HP, it would say "Area" Mp, "Midgar."
