Rating: Summary: Brady gives a fair amount of info, but in a cumbersome way. Review: Unlike other hint and guide books, Brady compartmentalizes his information into characters, materia and stages, with maps at the end of the book. While all the information is there, its frustrating to have to flip through the book to find the map, then flip back to the specific scene/chapter you're in, all the while fending off various creatures. A former FF guide book for console was much better organized with maps and character info relevant to a specific chapter all together. Regardless, the book is better than nothing and, at the bundled price with the game, it is unthinkable to try FF VII without it. Until something better comes along, (the "Unofficial Guide" perhaps?), this'll do.
Rating: Summary: This guide is a definite must. Review: This is by far the best strategy guide out there for Final Fantasty 7 providing in-deph weapons and monsters lists while not giving away too much of the intense storyline. Bradygames has once again outdone itself in this exellent guide. If you have this game and are looking for a guide, this is a definite must.
Rating: Summary: It's Good, with some problems Review: This book does tell you almost everything in the game. The bad about this is that it givesaway the storyline. It is missing a few weapons and some other things, but you can do fine without them. It has a very compleate section on the monsters, and another good section on the materea. It is good allaround, but its major drawback is that it gives away the story (which I said earlier).
Rating: Summary: Not the best FF7 book out there Review: This is a decent guide to Final Fantasy 7, but it misses quite a lot. In a game as big as FF7, there is a lot to potentially miss. This book also spoils a lot of the game with the pictures. If you want a book that doesn't spoil the game, and picks up a lot of what this one missed, hunt down the guide from Versus Books. That guide has things like the enemy skills, which are barely mentioned in the 'official' book.
Rating: Summary: Not a bad guide except.... Review: This FF7 strategy guide is good, but there is one HUGE problem with it. IT SPOILS THE GAME FOR YOU!! It shows in detail one of the best parts in the game(the end of disc 1), along with more minor parts of the storyline. which I really hate to see happen because FF7 is such a great gameeee with a incredible story line. It will help you play the game, but I highly recommend not buying this guide
Rating: Summary: This book is dabomb Review: This was the best sratigy guides i have ever gotten it goes over every thing, lists all the enemies, materia, items, charictars, limit breaks, ultimate weapons, maps of every part of the game, excellent chcobo breeding guide, goes over every part of the gold sauser, gives tips on how to beat the bosses and enemies, show how to find all the secret charictars and items, and a step by step walkthrough of the entire game. The only thing though is that it gives away alot of parts that would be more exciting if you did not know, but oh well. THIS IS A MUST HAVE IF YOU ARE STUCK. Get it, you wont regret it.
Rating: Summary: A great guide Review: If you want to go through the game and not know what happens next, don't buy the book. The book is very detailed. It lists every secret area, all the materia, ect. If you want to find everything in the game I highly recommend this book. I used it to go through and find everything. It still is a great book.
Rating: Summary: Did not like it Review: The game was decidly one of the easist FF series games with not much too cover, therefore the strategy guide went over the few quasi-challenging parts of the game. Thumbs down,
Rating: Summary: The book is the best straitgy guide ever! Review: the game is the best I have ever played but with this book it a hell of a lot better.
Rating: Summary: This one isn't the best of the FF7 strategy guides Review: This guide practically gives away every plot twist in the game. You might as well just get the guide and read about it.However, this guide did help me when I needed it the most
