Rating: Summary: The dumbing down of America Review: This book wasn't written it was pasted and copied. No original thought but plenty of arrogance. The author is the true UGLY AMERICAN who is always right and has God on his side. Thankfully there are many parts of the world that are lightyears ahead of this Republican backwarding thinking mentality. Someday America will get back on track to progressive thinking.
Rating: Summary: The Joy of Truthfulness in Media Assessment Review: Few men have had the courage to take on the media elite like Sean Hannity as this book clearly shows. Most impressive is its forthrightness in exposing the hypocrisy of double standards set by liberals for conservatives but which they will not apply to their own. Hard-hitting and truthful, Mr. Hannity puts forth his vision of a strong and patriotic American agenda that restores the nation to its rightful place envisioned by its founders. He is especially critical of the Democratic party axioms that push values of the party elite while ignoring grass-roots Americana. This book is a must-read for all who have longed for an opportunity to see expressions of patriotism which have been often maligned in the past few decades revived and energized.
Rating: Summary: Hits it on the Head Review: Sean hits the topics right on the head. He not only puts out the conservative view and shows how the left is vastly flawed as a political philosophy, but he backs up the claims that he makes. He shows how the Left has ignored domestic issues that will benefit the whole, how the Left thinks that the people of this country can't make decisions for themselves and they are better suited to make decisions for us, and how left, no matter what they say or do, flip-flop on all issues and try to turn everything into a political agenda for them. If you are a conservative or not sure, this is a must read book, if you are a leftist liberal, this book will show what your own party and people won't.
Rating: Summary: Hooray for Hannity! Review: Hannity shoots straight from the hip and this book is for anyone who likes his show or his message, or both!
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Overview of Conservatism Review: This book will give you the ammunition to win arguments with your liberal friends. It's an easy and enjoyable read.
Rating: Summary: And, Let Character Leadership Education Ring Review: Hi! I just wanted to say, though I think Sean Hannity is a little biased himself, I think he is honest and is mostly trying to tell it like it is. This is a book that everyone who has read Michael Moore's "Stupid White Men" and is honestly part of the broad middle should also read. Perhaps it's just my independent thinking, but I think the "Moores" and the "Hannitys" should all revisit their knowledge of American values by reading something like Norman Thomas Remick's "West Point: Character Leadership Education..Thomas Jefferson". They should all step back and get things back in perspective, starting with acting like fellow Americans, not enemies. Thankyou, D.C.
Rating: Summary: One more book of common sense for the Naive & Arrogant Left Review: Sean is not attacking anyone in this book. He is shinning the light on the way things really are. I was shocked at first but now I'm not surprised that Tom Daschle and Al Gore would do some of the most un-American things. For example Sean lists several bills that made perfect sense to pass. However, Mr. Daschle voted against every one of them, including the arrest of anyone who burns an American Flag in this country. The list goes on and Sean motions how bad things are around our borders even in a post 9/11 America. Both parties are refusing to put our military on our borders to protect us, simply for the sake of votes. What about our votes?
Rating: Summary: Conservatism 101 Review: It's not meant to deal with every liberal icon, argument, cause, or concern. It's meant as an engaging introduction to conservative thought. I think it does a fine job. It's not meant to end discussion, but to start it. If that's what you want, this will do just fine.
Rating: Summary: Nice landing; Wrong airport Review: While Mr. Hannity effectively evokes his radio/tv persona in this book he does little to further "the cause" that he so passionately embraces. All this book seems to focus upon is the demonization of the left. The truly offensive aspect is the consistent need to equate liberalism with socialism. JFK, Jimmy Carter, Hubert Humphrey, and Walter Mondale - all LIBERAL DEMOCRATS that served their country VOLUNTARILY with valor when it counted - it is disgraceful to defile their accomplishments. Mr. Hannity would be better served taking a few years off the circuit and rounding out his obviously limited education before his political aspirations become too transparent.
Rating: Summary: A book of urgent relevance Review: Sean Hannity, the host of ABC Radio's "The Sean Hannity Show" and Fox News Channel's "Hannity and Colmes" is the unequivocal spokesman of the conservative right. In this absorbing book, Mr. Hannity articulately describes the dangerous loosey-goosey politicking and rhetoric of the liberal left, an element that has pervasively infused itself into our society, and is eroding the moral tenets and principles upon which this country was founded.Virtually no stone is left unturned as the author touches upon topics ranging from immigration, national security, the impending extinction of national identity and patriotism in the educational establishment, abortion, taxes, and liberal fear mongering and mudslinging tactics. Mr. Hannity aptly demonstrates the folly of those willing to settle for a lukewarm, morally relativistic, concessionary society over liberty, life and freedom
