Summary: A man who speaks for the Average American Citizen
Review: What can one say? Sean will be hated by the left and attacked as are so many others who speak the truth of the American social, political, judicial and economic situations America finds itself in due to the influences of those who care little for real Americans and real problems, but a great deal about power, control and oppression.

Sean Hannity speaks for the common man and woman, the average American citizen, the silent but suffering true mainstream entity in a world of the rich, famous and the powerful left.

All that he says in this book does represents the raging frustrations held inside a great many Americans, well at least three quarters of them. One quarter of the America people is left, one quarter is right, one quarter is too young to vote or care, and the other quarter is too disinterested or disgusted to participate.

Screaming about who has the most popular vote is just a bunch of smoke and mirrors, because the above analysis is the truth. That means that nearly 70 million people who could vote do not vote. Certainly enough to be the true deciders of the political agenda in America. Add to them the multiple millions of American Servicemembers deployed around the world who do not get to vote and any percieved popular mandate would seem insignificant by the left.

Sean wrote a fine book here, worthy of review by both sides, and it is an interesting, yes compassinate conservative, and slightly abrasive book. But no worse than out there from either side. He simply tries to counter the bias, we the people, see twenty-four seven in the many forms of media, intertainment and news that get sent into our homes every day.

"Let Freedom Ring" is a quick and easy read, meaningfull and touching. I applaud Sean for adding this to the list of books on the market to help America find itself. Great Job Sean.

I am anxiously awaiting Sean's counterpart Allan's book, which must surely be in the making. I am sure it will be a good read as well.

Summary: It's fluff
Review: Let me start by saying that I am a huge Sean Hannity fan. I grew up listening to his radio show here in NY and was eagerly looking forward to reading this book. Despite my agreement with much of Hannity's philosophy, this book simply doesn't cut it. The writing style is choppy, the citation style is misleading at times, and the book fails to articulate a central theme other than "Liberals are bad, and Bill Clinton is especially bad." The transition from chapter to chapter is at times non-existant.

I hope readers don't judge this book (or this review) simply based on whether they agree with the author's political philosophy. Just because someone has the right ideas does not mean they can articulate them effectively in every forum. Recent works by Ann Coulter and Pat Buchanan make similar points but are immensely more entertaining, better written, and more thoroughly cited. Despite the fact that Liberals are a central target of this book, Hannity never effectively defines for the reader what a Liberal is. Compare this to Buchanan who delves deeply into the origins of today's Liberal ideology by introducing the reader to the writings of Marcuse and Gramsci.

I suspect this book was more the result of Sean's burgeoning popularity (his radio show is now nationally syndicated) than any innovative thoughts that crossed the author's mind motivating him to write. Hannity knew he had a built-in audience and thus writing even the most intellectually shallow work would generate a huge return. For an adoring listener like myself, this was immensely disappointing.

Summary: A "Screed Read" Indeed
Review: I have read Mr. Hannity's book...and much like it.

I recommend his book to the likes of Maxine Waters, Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. Their arguments are often the exact opposite of Mr. Hannity's but their style of communication, polemical tone and self-righteous air of infallibility are exactly the same.

Mr. Hannity reminds me of Democratic talk show regulars like the aforementioned fearsome threesome who think that partisan parody is the same as political commentary.

This book, like so much else which passes for political analysis today, is as intellectually informed, honest and unbiased as are "Cross-Fire," Cross Fire's growing number of imitators and political talk shows nationwide. This kind of "in your face genre" has more to do with provoking than informing, with scoring points than with making them.

Whether from the right or the left, "gotcha political arguments" are getting increasingly tiresome as they become increasingly prevalent.

If you were skimming through and reading only "favorable" five star reviews..."Gotcha."

Summary: Libertarians beware
Review: Sean Hannity's rise to stardom is a complete mystery to me. I wouldn't have thought there would be a market for yet another apologist for the big government 2 party system, yet here we have it again. There is nothing new in this book that you wouldn't find in Ann Coulter's drivel, Rush Limbaugh's two unimportant works, or any other "right wing" popular authors. The difference is that at least Rush sounds somewhat intelligent, Hannity doesn't even make the effort.

What disappoints me most as a libertarian is that jokers like Hannity keep saying they love freedom, yet continue to support a party that continuously delivers big government intrusion in our lives. Any thinking person who loves freedom should be able to see through this facade. Debating Liberal vs Conservative, Democrat vs Republican is a distraction from the real war. The war of big government vs limited government. Both main parties heavily benefit from keeping the government at it's huge size. There is no incentive for them to reduce it. Not unless we the people get rid of these folks and install people who will restore true freedom.

Please don't waste your money on this book and line the pockets of the big government pimps. Heed the words of Thomas Jefferson "wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which SHALL LEAVE THEM OTHERWISE FREE TO REGULATE THEIR OWN PURSUITS OF INDUSTRY AND IMPROVEMENT" (Emphasis mine)

Summary: I like Sean, hated the book!
Review: I read the first 100 pages and the last ten. If this book can be number one on a book list, I am encouraged to write a book, myself. Read the Amazon[.com] excerpt's and save your money, or, just turn on the radio to Hannity's show and you'll get the book. As a fellow New Yorker, I had to give an extra "star."

Summary: Great for getting a handle on the myopic Right!
Review: More pap from the right in answer to pap from the left. We can win a war on terrorism by becoming terrorists ourselves or we can find another way. Becoming terrorists ourselves will never work and I don't need to give examples. Simply follow the news over the years and the truth of this statement become obvious. It hasn't worked in Israel, it hasn't worked in Northern Ireland, and it won't work here. Trying to battle a very loose network of "terrorists" can be likened to rounding up a herd of cats. Try it sometime to get the full understanding.

What far too many "authorities" in this country fail to realize that many of the attacks we've witnessed and will continue to witness are not as well organized or centralized as our leaders want us to think. Hannity fails to realize this. Bush and his staff fail to realize this. People who are sympathetic to the likes of bin Laden and are not part of his organization conduct many of the attacks we've seen and will continue to see. In short these "groups" are similar in makeup and mindset to the "Skinheads" and "White Power" groups that America found itself dealing with as few as five years ago.

Blaming Clinton-Gore for this problem is not only counter-productive it's revealing. Hannity is obviously trying to make a problem for all of us the fault of a prior administration and for no other reason than political gain.

Our enemies are nothing more than "Middle Eastern trailer park trash" loosely led by intelligence with an agenda. It's doubtful that the leader's agenda is even religious in nature.

How can we win this "war?" By trying to improve the lives of those who hate us. By helping the "have-nots" become "haves." By educating those who cannot even read the Q'ran because they are illiterate. In short by making them us.

So pointing fingers of blame will only divide us and further the cause of the bin Ladens this world. By the way what ever happened to Osama?

Summary: Let Freedom Ring
Review: Sean...Great book. If only the left would be willing to read this book. Hits the major topics of politics today and uncovers the lies of the left. MUST READ!

Summary: Drivel by Sean Hannity
Review: This book was given to me so I can't say that I wasted my money on it. My title for Mr. Hannity's book is very forgiving for its content.

There are no new ideas or rhetoric here, not even for a White Power person such as Mr. Hannity. He had one point that he repeated over and over and that is that all the problems in the world are caused by the "Left". He did not define who the Left are so that was a little disappointing. The other disapoinnting thing is that Mr. Hannity never learned the word "parsimony", but then again it must be hard for him becasue his vocabulary numbers less then 2000 words.

Summary: Phenomenal!! Absolutely incredible!
Review: Sean Hannity delivers the truth as blunt as it comes. Good for people who cant handle Rush Limbaugh's.... boldness. Seans book outlines what problems are currently facing us as a nation and exposes some of the biggest names in our government for what they are. Every page is filled with facts that many people never bother to research offering a great reference for debates and arguments. Hateful? No. Racist? No. Truth exposing? Absolutely!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A new classic
Review: This has to be one of the best books I've ever read. Hannity does a great job of backing up his points with facts and keeps the book interesting with the text from his interviews with different politician. If you are thinking about purchasing this book I highly reccommend it. It's worth every penny of the price!
