Summary: Go Sean Go!
Review: Sean, you the man! What a great book by a great American. As you can tell by some of the other reviews, the lefties just hate this book. Well, the truth is hard to take. Thanks Sean, for telling it like it is.

Summary: intellectual bankruptcy masquerading as political argument
Review: If you to know anything about conservative thought and what it really means to be a conservative and think like a conservative, then skip this book. For starters, Hannity is a hero-worshipper - not a conservative thinker. He is more interested in manufacturing doxologies to Ronald Reagan and Newt Gingrich than setting out concisely how conservatives think - and why that makes their ideology different than that of other folks on the political spectrum. Does anyone other than Hannity really believe that Ronald Reagan is singlehandedly responsible for the fall of the Soviet Union? That tommyrot version of history, which Hannity proffers repeatedly in this book, sounds like the kind of thing that a curator at the Reagan Library would say -- not a serious political commentator.

Hannity's ossified bleating about tax rates, abortion and gun rights is about as revealing as yesterday's headlines. Hannity really is more of a public relations flack than an author or commentator, and his arguments would be more at home on a Republican National Committee pamphlet than in a book.

Summary: America marches on....
Review: Another loudmouth rakes it in pandering to craven bigots, and those who think patriotism is arrogance and power. Real patriotism is doing the best you can to build a strong, civil nation for all. Patriotism is community service, and advocating policies that lead to the greatest good for the greatest number. Too bad Sean Hannity, and those who gobble up his trite rhetoric, are too busy fighting a "war" against so-called "liberalism". I love America too, and that's why I'm proud to stand for workers rights, environmental protection, social justice, and basic economic fairness for all. Sean would like to paint liberals as unpatriotic, but he fails. Fact is, America is indeed the greatest country on the earth in spite of conservative ideology, not because of it. Social progressives and liberals have everything to do with the grand and magnificent state of our union. Sean, and those who read him, would do well to remember and thank the liberals of history and today, not vilify them. You're weak and failing rhetoric may have made you wealthy Sean, but it can't make you right. Our great nation finds it roots in progressive values, and we'll march on towards a greater state of civil perfection... even as right-wing zealots and conservatives try to impede our progress, even trun back the clock. Generation after generation, America continues it's slow steady march, turning aside from the voices of ignorance, voices like Sean Hannity and his ilk.

Summary: Totally Hannitized!
Review: I love the way Sean writes! When I'm reading, I can actually hear him in my head. There could only be one thing better than reading it and that would be to listen to it on audio! He writes and says exactly what most of us are thinking. I highly recommend that EVERYONE read it. How can you possibly disagree with facts! I look forward to his next book.

Summary: Limbaugh WOULD have written this book . . .
Review: This is the book that Rush Limbaugh would have written had he not been dealing with his hearing loss. The power of this book is not so mauch that Mr. Hannity is teaching new truths-that is the province of crackpots and charlatans-but that he is explaining and elucidation upon the time honored and proved truths of life.

This book was rewritten after 9/11, which is an appropriate watershed. Mr. Hannity sees the attacks as an outgrowth of liberal-leftist philosophies, and he endeavors to persuade with his typical Irish fire that our choice is either liberty or liberalism.

This book provides a good survey of Mr. Hannity's thought and passion on politics and the way things ought to be. You do not need to be familiar with his cable program or his radio show to understand this book-it stands on its own. It does, however, provide a good introduction to this multi-media giant.

It is clearly written, and has a very conversational tone, muck like his radio program. It also has extensive endnotes, which are usually absent from similar books (i.e. Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly). The index is great, which is a rare compliment because I have yet to meet an index I like. It is written from the conservative-right point of view.

Summary: The Truth Hurts.. Take it and learn from it.
Review: If you care about your country and want to keep america alive, read this book and then give it to your children to read.
It sums up the past 20 years in an accurate and truthfull way.
I have heard many people crying over the treatment of their public official and they just play along with the name game. Like children who have never learned the way to look at the problem and find a resonable solution.
The facts Can NOT be disputed. Get over it and learn. We must get it all together now. We have been chalenged by the EVIL in the world and they know our weaknesses, Ourselves. If we can just take the pain we have created for ourselves in the past (I am talking about BOTH sides) and learn from it and move on to the resolutions we so badely need. I love all americans Left and Right. I dont understand them and they the same but we are americans. Lets act like it.
This is the best book ever to list the errors we have made in the past to let us see the direction we must take now to survive.
I have been enlightened on many subjects and have eather changed my views or strenghtend them.

Please excuse the spelling errors...

Summary: More Adolescent Thinking?
Review: When I bought this book, I was hoping to rekindle the feeling of the "good 'ol days" when Sean was a local talk radio host several years ago here in the Atlanta area. In those days, Sean actually let callers speak; unlike today's Hannity and Colmes where he books the most extreme liberals, asks them five questions in one, answers the questions himself based on "the way I see it" and then tells the guest, "We're out of time."

Unfortunately, his book is little more than a collection of rigid, black and white, Rush [wannabe], self-righteous and adolescent sentiments with minimal or no validation. You'll find very little intellegent dialectical thinking in this book. But, that's what Sean has taught himself to avoid. For centuries, "evil" people have learned that power and influence over others can best be accomplished by replacing logical thought with emotional response. Sean's "ideology" is no different; all things good in the world are conservative (opposed to change) and all things bad in the world are liberal (open to reform).

In his book--his Bible, his Koran, his Code of Hammurabi, Hannity shows that he has squarely crossed over into that narcissistic suburb of Paradise; Hannityville. It is the land where the holy thoughts of the writer are the final word, the final reason, the final truth--especially for those who lack the intelligence to think for themselves and have a desperate need to improve their personal self-concept--accomplished by blaming theirs and the world's problems on someone or something else.

Hannity's distorted perception of America's Founding Fathers is laughable at best. He has imposed the Hannity ideology on each one of them, and he proves that his ignorance with respect to enlightenment principles is truly his "best policy." A little education on this man's part would definitely help, but why do that when you can make lots of money being a blind man leading the blind?

I give the book two stars only because Hannity has the savvy to manipulate others to the point of making millions--a good Conservative value. However, if one is looking for any new or fresh approaches that go beyond the basic "dittohead" mentality of propaganda and "white boy paranoia," look elsewhere. Hannity's tired whining and blaming is of the juvenile, egocentric approach to life; no matter what my role in my problems, they must be someone else's fault. Grow up Sean. There's lots of fun in being a responsible adult. Try it--you might like it.

In summary, I say buy the book. Hannity needs lots of big, expensive, floor-length mirrors in order to constantly view the image of the most omnipotent--himself.

Review: Great listening. Made the trip from DC to Cleveland fly.

Summary: Warning
Review: Hey I liked the book real good, you should read it, real good. It's a good reinforcement from all the .... liberalness that places like NBC and the NY Times churn out every day.

I just wanted to warn all of you that most of the people who gave this book 1 star are much worse than you think. We're all horrible bleeding heart politically correct liberals, that you know. But the really horrible part is that we think folks like Tom Daschle and Bill Clinton aren't just liberal enough for us!

We take it farther than you could ever imagine, and you better watch out. We want multicultural history in our children's classrooms that all kids of all races can find relevancy to their lives in! We want police to be held accountable for their actions! To us, unions are good! .... I could go on and on and on. All I'm saying is you're wasting your time lumping us in with Clinton or Dashcle. Clinton isn't all that left-wing at all to us! Us real leftists are going to fight back harder than ever now that dashing young men like Hannity have found out our secret goals to destroy your way of life.

Read this book though, you're gonna need as much indoctrination as possible to handle our slow but steady onslaught of PC self-righteousness and America bashing. Read this book over and over again, your fragile skewed view of reality needs protection.

Summary: Nothing new
Review: Sorry Sean, dude, but there's nothing new here!! Until you can come up with something original, I won't buy another one of your books. I wasted my money, darn it!
