Rating: Summary: Scoblete does it again! Review: Anybody who doesn't buy this book is stupid, it's sensational.
Rating: Summary: Extremely Helpful Book Review: As a big fan of Frank Scoblete's writing, I must say that this book surpassed my expectations. It is a no nonsense examination of various methods of play utilized by the Captain of craps such as the "classical supersystem," the "radical supersystem," and others. The book, like all of Scoblete's books, is well written and thought provoking. Scoblete is the best gambling writer of the modern era and may be the best one of all time.
Rating: Summary: This book is full of ignorant, useless advice. Review: Do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this book like I did. This book is full of ignorant, groundless ideas. Twenty dollars spent on a book on probability theory will make you a much wiser craps player than this book will.
Rating: Summary: Information concerning contents and reviews of the book: Review: For serious craps players who want to delve more deeply into the Captain's remarkable methods of play. Includes the Classic and Radical Supersystems, The Captain's Best Buys - two new buy bets that radically reduce the house edge for place bettors; the Oddsman's bet that totally eliminates the house edge; the Captain's best "Don't" strategy; how to Fix and Control the Dice, and the truth about randomness and probability and much, much more! "Scoblete has done it! Surprisingly new ideas. Informative and entertaining! Scoblete writes for the player who wants to take home the money!"...Howard Schwartz, The Gambler's Book Club
Rating: Summary: The Must Book for Craps Review: Frank Scoblete has written the best book for serious craps players who want to win. This book is not for everyone because it advocates a method of play that takes discipline. But if you follow his advice, you will win. I have! The book is a masterpiece.
Rating: Summary: Don't waste your money Review: How many times can Scoblete drag "the Captain" back for a curtain call? If you had the misfortune of reading his previous book on the 5 count, then this is just an overpriced sequel with nothing new to offer.
Rating: Summary: Scoblete Does it Again! Review: I am a fan of Frank Scoblete's writing but I had not read this book because it was hard to find in bookstores. Well, I bought it right here at Amazon.com and got it in a few days. It is just great!!!! Scoblete builds on the ideas he wrote about in his ground breaking book Beat the Craps Out of the Casinos. This is an advanced book and it is fast reading. It is worth every penny for the motivated craps player.
Rating: Summary: A Serious Look at Craps Review: I can't recommend this book to the casual craps player as it doesn't explain how the gameis played. It assumes you know already. But if you are a serious craps player I say, go and buy this book right now. It will probably change your view of craps forever!
Rating: Summary: I Agree with Mississippi! Review: I couldn't have said it better! This book should be read by every smart craps player, if not, read Mississippi's description of you! Right on!
Rating: Summary: Fabulous Book Review: I don't usually rave about gambling books as most are of the same variety and could have been written by the same author. This book is radically different as it offers a method of play unlike any other I have ever enocuntered. Has it made me money? Yes, quite a bit in fact. Craps players have to get it through their skulls that the only way to beat the game is to find the hot shooters and the only way to do that is to have some method for eliminating shooters who are awful. This book gives just such a workable method, called the 5 count. With the betting systems in the book and the 5 count, you will see your bankroll gradually increase as I have done. Great book for craps players.
